SANDRA BULLOCK TEAMING UP WITH TOM HANKS FOR MOVIE?

bullockmtvSANDRA Bullock is heading back to the big screen — in a Tom Hanks film!

The actress, 46, is said to be in talks to star in Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, an adaptation of the 2005 dramatic novel by Jonathan Safran Foer.

If Bullock signs on for the role, it’ll be her first film since her Academy Award-winning performance in The Blind Side.

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close tells the story  of an intelligent nine year old — who has yet to be cast in the Stephen Daldry-directed project — who begins searching for a lock to match a key given to him by his father prior to his death in the New York terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Bullock and Hanks would play the child’s parents in the movie, which if locked would see them filming in January 2011.

Screenwriter Eric Roth has adapted the book, which Scott Rudin being lined up to produce.

Recent reports claimed sexy Sandra — who adopted baby son Louis following her split from cheating husband Jesse James – is keen to double her brood.

“Sandra has been through a lot of heartache this year but in many ways this has been the best year of her life — and that’s because of Louis,” a source said earlier this week.

“She’s totally devoted to him, to the point where her little family comes before everything now.

“She is already making plans to adopt again — maybe a daughter and a little sister for Louis.”

    Sandra is a fine example of class in the movie industry. Her acting abilities are above and beyond anyone else. Her work in “Blindside” was truely amazing! Sandra is an independent thinker, and has talant with no end. It’s no wonder Tom Hanks wants to work with her. Tom has the same qualities and abilities as her, and they are both the best actors out there. I hope they marry!
