FAITH EVANS ARRESTED ON SUSPICION OF DRINK-DRIVING; INSISTS SHE’S DOING FINE AND IS WELL!

Fatih EvansFAITH Evans has been a naughty lady — allegedly!

The singer — who’s due to release her new album in October — was arrested in Los Angeles over the weekend on suspicion of drink-driving.

Police said the star, 37, showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol when she was pulled over at a checkpoint.

The singer was held for four hours and released on bail pending formal charges.

Evans — who won a Grammy in 1998 for the song I’ll Be Missing You — spent 13 weeks in drug rehab after being arrested in Atlanta in 2004 and charged with cocaine and cannabis possession.

Faith has since taken to her Twitter to thank fans for their well-wishes and assured them that a music video is still on the way.

“Hi Faithfuls…I am on the set of my new video for my single Gone Already,” she wrote. “I’m sure by now most of you heard that I was detained on suspicion of a DUI.

“After completing a full day of wardrobe prep I was stopped at a random checkpoint. I’m fine and well, and thank you for your prayers, kind words and concerns. I can’t wait for you all to see my new video & look forward to hearing from u guys…Fizz.”

May God bless you. Things like that happen to the best of us everyday. But because your famous you were put in the spotlight (negatively). Be strong & be safe. And maybe you should consider hiring a driver here and there. Best of luck to you!

Checkpoint? Sounds suspicious? You have always been able to handle controversy; in fact, quite remarkably, I might add. I don’t think this will be any different. Looking forward to your new project and much love to you and your family.
