The Scottish singer apparently lashed out at a group of bullies who mocked her on a training during a 30-minute trip from Edinburgh to her home in West Lothian this past Sunday.

According to British newspaper The Sun, when the rowdy group started laughing at Boyle, she responded, “I’m ashamed of you all. Shut up. I don’t normally get angry. It’s not funny. If it was you, you wouldn’t like it.”

“Something seemed to be upsetting her. There were people laughing. It was not nice,” a source added.

“Susan put them in their place and good for her.”

    This is another example of bullying. I was abused before and I know what it is like. Sometimes you feel like lashing out at the ignorance that surrounds you. Susan, I salute you and I love your singing as well.

    You go girl! She is a great example to anyone that is getting bullied by anyone. Stand up to them and let them know that you aren’t going to take their crap anymore. Bullies are usually just as scared as the person they bully and you will very seldom see one person doing the bullying. They have to travel in packs so they feel safe.

    Apparently there are bullies in every part of the world.It’s incidents like this that bring shame upon today’s generation of youth,but kudos to Susan Boyle for standing up for herself and not taking any flack from these disrespectful punks.

    Yes, indeed, good for her!!! I wonder why others on that train didn’t also stand up to those louts. However, this lady is strong and courageous and can certainly stand up for herself. After all, she has been doing it most of her life.
    A sad commentary on modern life this. That this kind of thing can happen is deplorable.
