Adam Lambert Won’t Kiss Fans Against Their Will!

Adam LambertADAM Lambert insists he’d “never” want to kiss someone who didn’t want to be kissed.

The controversial American Idol star — who has been shocking audiences during his Australian tour by passionately kissing front-row fans — says he has a fool-proof plan to ensure he doesn’t lock lips with the wrong girl or guy.

“The thing about kissing somebody is that you know if the person wants to be kissed or not,” says Adam. “I would never kiss anybody who didn’t want to be kissed.

“The people I kiss are the people who give me that eye the entire night. I would never force myself on anybody.”

Lambert, 28, recently revealed he was 12 when he realized he’s gay.

“Growing up I wasn’t very confident. It wasn’t until in my early 20s that I evolved into who I really was and wanted to be,” he said.

“I always used to look at being different as a bad thing, but I’ve learned that you need to take pride in the fact that you are unique.

“I was an ugly duckling, I was overweight and at 12 I realized I was gay. I kept that a secret until I was 18, so dealing with that and not feeling attractive was hard.

“The main validation I got was from being a performer, because it made me feel good about myself.”

    yeah, listen to Karin – Adam is on his AMERICAN tour, it’s his Glam Nation show, and it happened at ONE show! If you’re going to do a story, make sure you have the facts correct. Thank you.
    I’ve been to 6 Glam Nation shows, Adam gets better & better at each one! (and I’m sure most of the attendees wouldn’t mind at all if he kissed them!!!! Adam is sexy!) Adam’s vocals are incredible, I can’t wait to get his acoustic EP to be released this fall, and for him to work on his next album, which he wants to release next Spring! I can never get enough of Adam & his talent & beauty!

    I was not aware that Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, MN or Mystic Lake Casino in Burnsville, MN or the Midland Theater in Kansas City, were in Australia. Damn. I really did NOT pay attention in geography. Also, when I go to the Des Moines, Iowa show (apparently in Australia) next Friday night, I will be sure to give Adam “the eye” all night so I can be the recipient of some of his tongue diving.

    Don’t get too excited it was a random fun thing to do. It was cool and the majority of Adam’s fans would love to have been on the receiving end of the kiss, but the rest of us will just have to enjoy his music cuz it sounds like it aint happening again. oh well, it was a memorable moment on the summer GlamNation tour. One of many fun moments.

    first of all this took place in the USA tour not in AUSTRALIA!!!. now if you google other articles you may find out where it actually took place. as for the person who adam kissed someone actually interview the girl named “Erika” and she wasnt upset or antyhing like that and if she could she will probably do it again. why are they asking adam these stupid questions!!

    This writer obviously hasn’t done any research at all for this article. Australian tour? Wrong! His tour has been only in North America. Passionately kissing front-row fans? It looked more like a quick kiss during a song to me. And this story reads like Adam does this in every show — wrong again! Adam did it during one show, and there have probably been at least 50 shows by now. Whatever happened to the concept of checking your facts before writing a story?

    Since our lives revolve around following Adam’s UNITED STATES tour, and we would be thrilled if he kissed every audience member every night, we have to either laugh or cry at one more article filled with inaccuracies. We know we get a bad rap for being Adam fanatics, but this is the reason. If I had turned a paper in at college with this many mistakes, I’d be working at McDonalds. We’re not mad, we just despair at the state of journalism today.
    Having said that, thank you for writing about Adam and using that gorgeous picture. There can never be too much Adam………. ha, ha. Isn’t he the hottest thing you’ve ever seen? By the way, most of the concerts are sold out, but there are a few seats left at a few venues, so do yourself a favor and try to get to one. ADAM DOES NOT DISAPPOINT and every show has its own energy and antics. Who knows, something outrageous might happen and it would provide another article with facts you could vouch for from personal experience.

    Well then the site should be sued for defamation of character! Putting out FALSE information and FALSELY quoting someone is punishable under the law. You know there are some people who believe everything they read and this is obviously an attack on character! Real author or not there is someone behind it and should be made an example!!!

Please don’t listen to any of the media trying to build a concert fan kiss into something that is unpleasant and shouldn’t have happened… I am so glad you are being you and if your fans, close enough to the stage, give you the kiss-me-eye-gaze and the feeling comes over you to act on that(Glambert)fan kiss-me-eye- ogle… please go in for the kiss we the fans approve.

    Well Adam only kissed fans at one show and the people he kissed LOVED it!! Most of his fans are a little envious so to make it seem weird – is silly! Adam’s American tour has been fantastic!! Adam is such an amazing performer and his voice live is to die for!! Adam Lambert has mad talent and he is a lovely person. Accuracy is lacking in your article which is not so lovely.

    If they don’t like the way that Adam performs then they shouldn’t have booked him. I took my granddaughter to a concert about ten hours away from our home and I kept praying that we would get to shake his hand or have him autograph our posters and t-shirts so if he had kissed one or both of us you sure wouldn’t hear either of us complaining about it. Its funny how everyone has lost focus about how great he sings and how wonderful his shows are and can now only focus on how gay he is. Here I thought we had come out of the dark ages. It is so sad that they are so jealous that they can now only write about what he is doing wrong instead of what he is doing wrong. I will pray that people open thier eyes not only about Adam but about all people who are different. If you don’t like him then just don’t listen to him or go see him. Rock Hudson was gay and all the women loved him and a whole bunch of men sure liked his movies so just because thier sexual preferences are different doesn’t mean that they are any less talented.
