Bristol PalinBRISTOL Palin is joining the cast of Dancing With the Stars!

Sarah Palin‘s 19-year-old daughter will appear on the 11th season of the hit TV show, set to premiere on ABC Sept. 20, sources say.

Other stars rumored to be competing on the hit ballroom series include David Hasselhoff, Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Kirstie Alley and The Hills alum Audrina Patridge.

Singer Brandy also is in “serious discussions,” a source said, and crooner Michael Bolton‘s “management company have been in talks with the show for over a month,” said another insider.

“They’re all very excited about it, especially Michael.”

“We don’t comment on casting rumors. The real Dancing With the Stars cast will be revealed Monday, Aug. 30, live on ABC during Bachelor Pad,” said an ABC rep.

Dancing With Stars‘ previous contestants include Kate Gosselin, Shawn Johnson, Jake Pavelka, Pamela Anderson, Kelly Osbourne and Lance Bass among many others.

    I’m boycotting the show this year. Too many non-stars, i.e. Bristol Palin??? She’s nobody’s model unless you want to say, okay, have a child out of wedlock, it’s okay, then you can be a “star”. …. and we wonder why the kids are like they are with these kind of role models?’

    Again, I’m not watching until she goes, which I hope is soon.

    Guess they have run out of HAS BEENS now back to NO TALENT
    guess dancing with the stars is getting desperate. Must be having alot of kids when MARRIED now it is having a KID and not getting MARRIED what a laugh. Lost me last season and I guess forever.
