According to a shocking new report, the Scottish singer’s voice was DIGITALLY ENHANCED for TV.

Susan — who shot to fame as the runner-up on music mogul Simon Cowell‘s UK TV show Britain’s Got Talent — became embroiled in the X Factor Auto-Tune scandal after a report claimed her first performance was altered.

“Susan Boyle’s audition was smoothed out in post-production,” a source told British tabloid The Sun.

Meanwhile, Boyle — who is a devout Catholic — says she’s looking forward to performing for Pope Benedict XVI.

Susan will perform in an open-air ceremony in Glasgow when he visits the city next month.

“To be able to sing for the Pope is a great honour and something I’ve always dreamed of – it’s indescribable,” she said.

“I think the 16th of September will stand out in my memory as something I’ve always wanted to do, I’ve always wanted to sing for his Holiness and I can’t really put into words my happiness, that this wish has come true at last.”

Susan will sing her best known song I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables as well as perform with an 800-strong choir while the Pope performs mass.

“The Pope’s visit is a very big event for Scottish Catholics. My own faith is the backbone of my life, I pray and say the rosary each day and am very close to my religion,” she added.

“I am humbled and honored by this invitation and I hope I can do my best.”

    Hmmmmmmmmm. Was Susan’s voice enhanced when she sang pitch perfect acapella on the Larry King show, and several times in her own home. Was it enhanced when she received standing ovations in 22 venues of the BGT tour? Was it enhanced when she appeared live on the Today Show and with the Boduken Orchestra in Japan? So far as concerns Miss Boyle, this is a silly non-issue. It is estimated a billion people worldwide will be watching when Susan sings for the Papal Mass in Glasgow. Perhaps then this ridiculous “story” will die a natural and well deserved death.

    Oh well if it was enhanced a little for the show but I don’t believe it but it was oh well doesn’t make me change my mind of how she can sing. I saw her on Oprah and other shows, she is an smazing singer and it wouldn’t take that much to enhance her voice, she’s already got talent!!! Great singer!! beautiful voice!

    Some people just can’t sit back and enjoy the good things in life … always looking at nits to pick. Susan brings joy to millions of folks world wide … so … naysayers, nitpickers …. put a sock in it.

    Probably tried to clear out some of the cheering the audience was doing so we could hear her voice. And why didn’t they correct the bad start she had on memory if they were digitally enhancing. This just doesn’t hold water and those “unidentified ” or inside sources that the tabloids always seem to quote and full of it where Susan is concerned. Were all of the contestants “enhanced ” . If so , they couldn’t enhance them to be better than her, could they. And how about her 1999 recording of Cry Me a River” Didn’t even have that technology back then. When will people realize that you guys will print ANYTHING with NO proof, just to sell papers. And SUSAN SELLS PAPERS. She could also sell papers if you printed something positive about her. Probably even more. Try it sometimes, if you even know how.Says a lot about the character of the people who buy into this trash.
