Tom Cruise Hoping to Wind Back the Clock!

Posted by Adam

Tom CruiseAGING actor Tom Cruise is on a “strict” diet and fitness regime in a bid to prepare his body for his roll in upcoming movie Mission: Impossible 4.

The Top Gun star, 48, is desperate to look as good as he did ten years ago when he plays secret agent Ethan Hunt.

“Tom has put himself on a strict fitness routine and diet, which includes daily three-hour workouts and a low-carb meal plan consisting of 1,200-1,300 calories per day,” a source told American magazine In Touch Weekly magazine.

Tom was just 34 when he made the first Mission: Impossible film back in 1996.

“Tom is determined to look like he did ten years ago… he has been working out with his personal trainer,” the source said.

It was recently revealed that Jeremy Renner — Oscar-nominated star of The Hurt Locker — will be starring alongside Cruise in the film, which begins shooting in the fall.

Tom looks very good for his age, he has nothing to worry about. I love his determination, and drive though :)

The guy looks like he is great shape still. The secret is to STAY in great shape. Now a days 48 is not that old if you are smart about it. It looks like Tom is smart about it!
It will be another good movie I expect. I have liked each of the first 3, even though they all had a different flavour. I like the idea of having a different director for each film to add their own ideas.

Too bad his character died in Collateral – I thought that was his best role.
