MATT Dillon isn’t bothered about being famous — he just wants to be “considered an actor”.

The Something About Mary stars he wants to be recognized for his talents instead of people focusing on his personal life.

Dillon was asked what it was like staring alongside Lindsay Lohan in the 2005 movie Herbie: Fully Loaded.

“How many 18-year-olds are under that kind of scrutiny?” he said. “I think it’s unfair these days the way magazines judge women on their weight and that kind of stuff.

“But I don’t preoccupy myself too much with being famous. I’ve always just wanted to be considered an actor.”

Matt also claims he’s eased off on his hard-partying lifestyle.

“Personally, I don’t really miss watching the sun rise that much,” he says. “Sunsets are great. Sunrises are a mixed bag. You either got up way too early or went to bed way too late.

Matt Dilllon isn’t an actor. He never was. He was yes a pretty face that all the gay Hollywood types and the horny old women executives were into. No, he could never be an actor. Have you heard him speak? He’s so monotone and has such a boring personality. I’m tied of all these so-called “actors” that make their way into Hollywood through the “back-door”. Excuse the pun.

If I had 1/10th the money he made being famous maybe I wouldn’t be struggling every day just to pay the bills and have minimal food on the table. Yep, I’m getting a little tired of hearing celebrities whine about how they love acting, but don’t want to be famous. Do us a solid and either shut up and be grateful that people still pay a @#$!pile of money to see and hear you do your job, or get into another line of work.
As far as the poor editing critics, blame the ‘net. People want their news (or gossip) ASAP so it often skips the proofreading process.

I actually like Matt quite a bit. I like a lot of movies that he was in. I think he is a very good actor. He was a SUPER STUD of his days. Just look at pics when he was young. Incredibly handsome dude. He had women lined up around the corner for a chance to bang him. He always the type of guy that stayed out of trouble for the most part. In fact, I can’t recall ever reading any tabloid bullshyt about his exploits other than the ultra hot women that he was banging. He has some great performances that he created on film that even most critics agree were very very good.
