The 38-year-old actress — who is due to give birth to her first child with fiance Martyn Lenoble later this year — hasn’t been craving anything in particular, but can’t resist tucking into her favorite treats, whatever the time of day.

“Just keep going with it in my mouth,” she said.

Christina has been studying her friends and looking to her mother for guidance on how to raise her child and is confident she will be able to adopt both a hands-on and hands-off approach to parenting.

“I’ll probably be a little bit hippy and a little bit Type A,” she said. “I’ll take from what my mother did, which was way hippy and like ‘Do what you wanna do,’ and bring some things that I know from watching my friends raise their kids. An amalgamation of sorts.”

Applegate recently admitted her pregnancy is making her “a little cuckoo”.

“Everything you read in the baby books, I’ve got. The cravings, the morning sickness, the psychosis,” she said last month.

“You kind of go a little cuckoo. Yelling for no reason, that kind of thing.

“It’s almost like you’re stepping outside of yourself and you see this insane monster. And you want to stop her but she’s also kinda funny to watch.”
