KATY Perry‘s new album smells like cotton candy!

The singer says her fans will get a whiff of spun sugar when they open her latest record Teenage Dream, which hits the shelves next week.

“I had this idea to have the actual booklet of the CD scented, which is something I had never heard of anyone else doing, and especially since the cover picture was of me on a cotton candy cloud,” she said.

“I said, ‘Can we make this happen?’ You know I always have these crazy ideas… and it happened!”

Perry recently admitted she would love to start a family with Brand but is currently too focused on her career.

“I see myself as a professional right now and hopefully when I decide it’s time for children, I’ll be able to devote myself to that,” she said.

The brunette beauty also revealed she fell for the 35-year-old star because of his “eye for detail” and sense of humor.

“His eye for detail was so impeccable, he made me realize he was listening and understanding me completely and wanted to jump into my world,” she added.

“I have always been open to someone who would really challenge me emotionally, spiritually and mentally and he really covers those bases.

“And we both have a sense of humor — we play practical jokes on each other. We make each other laugh and that’s what keeps us connected in one way.”
