MICHAEL JACKSON’S KIDS STRUGGLING TO ADJUST TO SCHOOL

Jackson FamilyMICHAEL Jackson‘s children are having trouble fitting into school because of their full-time bodyguards.

The late Thriller singer’s eldest kids — Prince Michael, 13, and Paris, 12 — have enrolled in The Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley of California, but have reportedly struggled to make friends as the other pupils find their full time minders “intimidating”.

“The bodyguard situation really is a bit intimidating to other kids,” a source said. “And that makes them hesitant to approach Prince and Paris.”

The bodyguards reportedly accompany Paris and Prince to their classes, to their lockers and even watch them during lunch hour.

Michael’s mother Katherine — the children’s legal guardian — was said to be skeptical over sending the eldest two to school, feeling it would be against the wishes of Michael who had always had them taught at home.

However, the son of one of Katherine’s other children, Jermaine Jackson, stepped in and encouraged her to allow Prince and Paris to experience the wider world.

The youngest of Michael’s children, eight-year-old Prince Michael II — known as Blanket — is still schooled at home, as he is said to be shy and the family feel he is not ready to move out of the home schooling environment.

One of Michael’s friends, Lionel Richie, has previously said he thinks the children now have a better chance of a normal life now they are no longer in the care of the Billie Jean hitmaker.

“I think they have a better chance now,” he said. “I think they have a better opportunity to live a normal life.
“It’s hard to be Michael Jackson’s kids because you’re out and it’s you with Michael Jackson, and he was larger than life.”

Prince and Paris’ mother is Michael’s second wife Debbie Rowe, while Blanket’s other parent’s identity is unknown.

Michael died in June 2009 of acute Propofol intoxication.

    aww,poor kids. They wouldn’t be in that situation if Michael was still taking care of them. And about the bodyguards, when Prince was born Michael and Debbie received many death threats and other letters that are saying they will kidnap the baby,so they really need to protect them! Michael with the veils and masks and Katherine with the BG. And If you’re MJ’s kids then you will automatically,certainly,obviously and definitely need a bodyguard.

    Of course these kids are having problems adjusting to other kids their age and the real world.What do you expect when you have been sheltered and had no real friends and have been homeschooled since you where 5 years old.The only other children they have ever had to deal with is their other siblings.If this school they go to is a private school for the rich then they are going to be protected.I don’t think they need the bodyguards following them around the halls of the school all the time.

      Actually, they did have friends outside of family. Have you not seen all those leaked pictures of the Malnik family? and the home videos?

    Evidently KATIE did not read the article, but only the headline…IDIOT! They are NOT having a problem adjusting to children their own age! THE OTHER CHILDREN ARE HAVING A HARD TIME ADJUSTING TO PRINCE AND PARIS’ BODYGUARDS! Try thinking before you open your mouth (or your pen).
    Prince and Paris will be JUST FINE! I do wonder about the little one, though…I have never seen a picture of him without a frown on his face.

    I question the intentions of those other school kids if they’re afraid to approach Prince and Paris just because of the adult supervision. It’s more telling of them then of Prince and Paris.

    I approve of the body guards; keep those babies safe. They need it after all the YELLOW JOURNALISM the media put their father through.

    please leave the kids alone. you really don,t know how it is to cope with a parent. just let them adjust keep the media away from them. janet and mom do the best you can for them. we are all praying for you and the kids
