JOHN CUSACK TO PLAY EDGAR ALLEN POE IN THRILLER FLICK

JOHN Cusack has signed up to play Edgar Allan Poe in upcoming thriller film The Raven.
The Hot Tub Time Machine star announced the news on his Twitter account.
“Send any poe-gold my way as i begin this journey into the abyss,” the actor wrote.
The Raven – which is set during the last five days of Poe’s life — follows a serial killer inspired by the author’s dark tales for his crimes.
Michael Sheen, Jeremy Renner and Ewan McGregor were previously considered for the project. Production is scheduled for late fall in Serbia.
Cusack will star in the upcoming thriller Shanghai with Ken Watanabe and directed by Mikael Hafstom.
