Anne HathawayANNE Hathaway hasn’t chopped her hair off!

The sexy screen siren surfaced in Paris, France, over the weekend sporting a cropped, boyish new ‘do.

The 27-year-old debuted the shorter style for her role in the currently-shooting flick One Day.

But Hathaway’s rep insists the star hasn’t done a Britney Spears!

“It’s a wig,” said the spokesperson.

Anne, 27, recently revealed she thinks she looks funny.

“I think I’ve got really weird features,” she said last month. “I have very large features on a very small head.

“But, you know, I’m not going to beat myself up. It’s my face. I’m not very pretty. But that’s OK because I do know that I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important.

“If I don’t work out at all, I have too much curve and no tone—which is not OK. It’s about finding balance.”

    I don’t get it. Why do people who believe we should be worrying about more important things bother to comment on these stories. She’s not a hollywood puke, she’s a really nice person. And it’s just a filler kinda story, you don’t need to get worked up over it.

    Geez, she sounds cool and is much harder on herself than she should be. It’s like, I can’t possibly be a catty female toward someone who can hold her head that high and yet be so humble at the same time. Good role model. Add to that she has class, style, and she in fact be pretty. Keep it up Ann! :-)

    She is classy. But unfortunately there will be people who hate her just because of her profession. Yes the war in Afghanistan and the economy are important to all of us right now. Maybe stories like these, however light, help us to escape, if only for a moment, from all of the conflict and crime going on in the world. If a person is constantly bombarded with bad news, then it will give us a sense of hopelessness. Sometimes, you just have to lighten up and enjoy feel good stories.
