Zac Efron Prefers “Couples’ Stuff” Over Clubbing

The actor — who’s currently dating his former High School Musical costar Vanessa Hudgens — says at 22 he has already grown out of clubbing and prefers to get down to something natural with his girlfriend.

“I don’t know how people do that stuff. It’s a bunch of people you don’t know, a lot of intoxicated people running around that are sort of obnoxious or want something from you,” he said.

“Me and my friends, we all have girlfriends so we do couples’ stuff — like we all went camping, us and our girls. There were six of us, three buddies and three girlfriends, and we went out to the middle of nowhere, to this small campground with no running water, trying to catch food.”

Efron recently denied claims his romance with Hudgens is a publicity stunt.

“That’s just f***ing insane,” he said of the rumors. “I’ve never even heard of that happening… It would have been so much easier to call it off a long time ago.”

Efron said his relationship with Hudgens is boring.

“It’s not very interesting and there’s no money to be made on it,” he said. “It’s exactly how it should be. It’s real.”

    Before someone makes some stupid comment about Zac saying that his relationship is boring. You took that statement completely out of context. What he was saying was that it is boring to the media because he and Vanessa don’t do anything outrageous for the media to write about. He wasn’t saying that he is bored with the relationship.

    Zac IS boring to the press, cuz they can’t find any negative stuff to write about him, so they make up shit like that his relationship is a publicity stunt. Anyone can see that that’s a lie. It doesn’t get them a load of publicity, and they would get more publicity from breaking up. Plus, 4 years is a long time to keep up a fake relationship.
