Williams — who hosts The Wendy Williams Show – has reportedly been told to be a “little less Wendy” for the upcoming season.

According to New York Post gossip column Page Six, producers are keen to attract more middle-America moms.

“They’ve dumped producer Rob Dauber and even told the hair-and-makeup team to tone down Williams’ look,” a source said.

Wendy recently revealed she’s been speaking to her nine-year-old about sex.

“He’s going into fifth grade, so he asks questions about sex and he asks questions about tattoos,” she said last month.

“He wants to get a mohawk to round out the summer. He doesn’t ask questions about fashion — we don’t really have that yet, because he wears a uniform. But yeah, life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness.”

    Why should she have to “tone-down” her show? Nobody else is toning down their shows! Come on producers! Wendy reaches an audience that few others do, and it seems to me that you are implying that she is too ghetto fabulous for middle class America? WTF is theri such a class of people in this day and age? Tsk Tsk-

      I don’t buy this story one bit. Especially the part about Rob being fired. He helped create the show. They wouldn’t make such drastic changes to a show that’s doing well.
