Joel Madden: ‘New Good Charlotte Album Was Crap’

Joel MaddenJOEL Madden admits Good Charlotte had to re-record their upcoming fifth album Cardiology – because it was crap!

The rocker — who raises two young children with partner Nicole Richie — says the group decided to delay the record and head back to the studio so their fans wouldn’t be disappointed.

“This album should have been out a while ago but we recorded it and it was crap,” he said. “We did it over and we’re happy with it now.

“The thing is when you’re in a band called Good Charlotte it can’t be Bad Charlotte and certainly not Crap Charlotte!”
