JERRY Lewis thinks troubled Lindsay Lohan deserves a good old-fashioned smack in the mouth!

The funnyman says he can’t stomach today’s young celebrities — and tore into the Mean Girls star during an interview with US TV show Inside Edition.

“I’d smack her in the mouth if I saw her,” Lewis said. “I would smack her in the mouth and be arrested for abusing a woman!

“I would say, ‘You deserve this and nothing else…’ Whack! And then, if she’s not satisfied, I’d put her over my knee and spank her and then put her in rehab and that’s it.

“She doesn’t have the right to do to herself what she’s doing. She’s not hurting my business. What she’s doing is hurting herself, and that hurts me. It hurts me for her.”

Lewis, 84, also took aim at Paris Hilton, who was arrested in Las Vegas earlier last week and charged with cocaine possession.

“What they’re saying is, ‘I’m f**ked up, can you please help me!” he said.

“I think they need a f**king spanking! And a reprimand…! They have the intelligence of a box of rocks. A bag of snails will give you better answers than those people. I think a great deal of it is ignorance and crying for something other than love.”

But in turn, perhaps we enabled our children a little too much and allowed them to roam a little more freely. We have no one to blame but ourselves.. the parents for not stepping in and doing their job. I think as we moved along in life, 2 income families are a must and everyone is all over the place with juggling resonsibilities and keeping a roof over their head. And for those who have it all from generation to generation, they are off doing their own thing. It’s the breakdown of the family unit.

I think there are 3 issues we see today. 1st being that the general kid of Society (10+) has no fear of Authority. They have more child protective rights that will immediately put their Parent that gives discipline other than a “spank on the buttocks leaving no marks, redness or bruises.” Just 2 months ago an 88 y/o Grandmother was arrested for assault for slapping her Grand-daughter because she was dropping the F bomb in her Grandma’s home and was asked to stop so she told Gramdma to F-off. 2. Now that Ms Lohan is grown I doubt that corporal punishment would do any good. What we need to do is put an end to the double standards in the judicial system. It appears that if you are a celebrity, you can get a lighter sentence than if you are a commoner. She spent less than the average time for someone with good behavior when she was in jail. Besides THAT, he CRAWLS out of his hole once a year to allegedly ’stand up for kids’ (LIKE he gives a damn!) and spouts sarcastic, oft times incomprehensible garbage that is supposed to pass for a sense of ‘wit’ in his world…sweat all over the stage, begs money and then makes handicapped kids ‘march’ across the stage on their ‘walk of pity!’ , and then slithers back ’til next we see him, astonished, saying ’WOW! I thought he was dead!’ (BTW..I AM disabled, I have the right to speak up!)

Jerry may be a little over the top, but he’s basically right. Lindsay and Paris weren’t raised with solid moral principles, and it shows. I’d never hit a woman, but the spanking and the rehab are right on. They need examples of solid moral principles. Even more, they need to be loved unconditionally. Jerry should be commended for telling the truth. Lindsay and Paris also don’t realize that they are hurting everyone around them.

I’m not saying Jerry Lewis is 100% right on but I HIGHLY agree with his approach to Lindsay’s silver spoon approach to life and AGREE she needs to be BITCH slapped and set straight HOWEVER that can BEST be accomplished! Her not spending the entire duration of time in rehab was NOT in her best interest and I HOPE that she FINALLY digs her cabeza from her culo (HEAD OUT OF HER ASS)and sees the BIG picture in regards to what she has been (AND PROBABLY STILL IS) doing to herself. If we truly cared we as the public would stop rewarding them for their bad behavior. Stop paying the reporters, stop watching their movies or thaeir shows. Let them know that this is not acceptable behavior. Every action has a reaction. As even seen here. If the parents can not discipline them then it becomes our responsability as the public. Shut them out until they are back on track. Because all they are doing this for is attention, good or bad. Cut the money and see how they will listen. And the same applies to Jerry Lewis. He needs to know that NO ONE ! IS REALLY INTERESTED IN HIS IDIOTIC AND DEMENTED OPINIONS.!
