MICHELLE OBAMA, BARACK AT WAR WITH A KENNEDY?

Michelle ObamaMICHELLE Obama and her husband President Barack Obama have made an enemy out of Caroline Kennedy, according to a new report.

American tabloid the National Enquirer claims Caroline is so furious with the couple, she coldly snubbed them during the family’s recent vacation to Martha’s Vineyard.

Caroline is said to be bitter that Obama refused to make her part of his inner circle of advisers or to give her a plum appointment in his administration.

“Caroline feels that he just hasn’t been appreciative enough, especially after she and her family’s endorsement was key in helping him win the Democratic nomination over Hillary Clinton,” a source said.

“It was a real personal sacrifice. In so doing, she wrecked her relationship with the Clintons, who up till then had been close with the Kennedys.”

It was recently claimed that Barack and Michelle are living like a king and queen on the taxpayers’ dime.

“It’s outrageous Obama and his family are spending money like water when the rest of America is frantically tightening their belts in a desperate bid not to drown in their financial woes,” said one political insider.

“How can he pull this kind of stunt during what amounts to a modern day depression?

“Obama and his wife are acting like greedy, self-serving politicians, living like a king and queen on our dime. They should be sharing our misery, not spending money like it’s going out of style.

“The Obamas seem to be totally out of touch with the American people. It’s a scandal!”

        The president and first Lady are allotted a certain amount of money yearly for state dinners, parties, redecorating and so forth. Anything beyond that, they have to pay for out of their own pockets. The Obamas aren’t taking any more vacation time than any other president and family. George Bush was one of the worst next to his Daddy and Reagan. Carter had the least vacation days in his four years. A total of 79. Clinton about 169. Don’t believe me? Look it up on Yahoo. Search Presidential vacations and you’ll see. Little Georgy Bush spent almost 500 days at his Crawford Ranch alone, not to mention all of the other spots he and Laura went. Be sure of what you are talking about BEFORE you make foolish untrue comments. Geeze people!

They both went to Princeton, and Obama went to Harvard too I think….anyways, they JUST paid off their student loans when his book was published. According to Obama’s tax returns he’s barely at the million dollar mark. That seems like a lot of money, and it is. But there is no way in hell the Obama’s are spending their own money. That is such bullshit. Ok, so Michelle goes to Spain and takes 60 of her closest friends ((and yes, it was that many-they had to take two jets)). If we go out on a long limb here and say sure, they are paying for their own lodging…meanwhile, we are paying for security for her and her friends, food, air fair, gas, the plane, the cost of shutting down an entire beach in SPAIN, so she could do a little swimming. Etc Etc. People keep saying how Bush spent a lot of time at Martha’s Vineyard, and at his ranch. The reason that is ok, compared to what the Obama’s are doing is that he was vacationing at his private ranch, not gallivanting across the globe with 60 of his “besties”. I think the most elaborate vacation taken by the Bush administration was when Laura took the girls to Africa.

        Basically, nobody care’s that they are vacationing. Via their own money or tax payer money. We just don’t like to turn the TV on everyday and Michelle Obama is on the news in her 40 thousand dollar wardrobe parading across the world. We as poor American’s don’t like to see it. Especially from the First Family – who is supposed to be empathizing with the people.

        Black, white, red, yellow, blue or titty pink. I don’t care about race. Show some sympathy for the rest of the country, who are all currently going through a very difficult economic time. All we want is for them to stop waving their money and power in our face. Take vacation, I don’t care. Just be discrete. And BTW discrete doesn’t mean shutting down an entire beach so no one sees you swimming. It means use the pool on the roof.

How is it that you blame someone after the fact for all the people who have died in the war, not to mention people who have died in disaters like Katrina, for the economy, but yet still found it appropriate to live and party as he wanted to. Obama has been in office a little over a year. He has earned the vacations and the right to live as the President and his family should. Even if he had not, he has still done a heck of lot more than bush has ever done. He did not even win the election fairly. What is it that Bush accomplished in the eight years he was in office?         Perhaps, Caroline is very lucky that her name is not associated with Obama’s administration. It looks that after what Obama’s administration has done within these almost two years to American economy (just vice verse of what was expected), health care reform (no additional explanations are needed), and war and peace problems, he might be required to pay heavily for all that after November election and expected loss of democrats majority in both chambers of the congress. After that, any association with Obama’s administration and Obamas-themselves won’t be good at all.
        But it-all needs to be seen.

    Most likely this is not true. But if it is, first I’d say Caroline Kennedy seems to distance herself from people quite often. Even Jackie’s married boyfriend because he started seeing another woman after Jackie died. Then were was Carolyn Bessette. I don’t think she’s an easy personality. Really what has she ever done to earn a spot in the cabinet or elsewhere with Obama.

I can only cringe when thinking about what sort of children or granchildren, of some of you people, will one day help to rule this earth. I too love to blog, to witness the many different opinions, some pro, some con. Most of the time the majority will make intelligent comments. As usual the loudest and most rude somehow always get the most attention. It seems to me though, that most blogging sites have become so vicious. All the mean, vile and racial comments, have taken control of sensible conversation. We now have people attacking one another and not discussing the issue presented.
    We ALL know whether we admit it or not, the mess that was made by the previous president. We All know whether we admit it or not, that there is absolutely no way for the present mess to be cleared up, in less time than it took to make it. President Obama is a president, not a magician. He deserves our support and respect as president of the United States. One
    thing that Obama’s election has brought to the “light” is the fragile state this country is really in, reguarding race issues. We adults could learn from children. If we took one child age 1 yrs. old and put them together to play every day, without any input from the parents, the children would surely learn to get along. (Because afterall, children are what they learn) It’s not too late for us as adults, to try to make a difference, one day at a time. Let’s start building relations up instead of tearing them down.     First of all slavery is a system that has been around for centuries long before europeans ever thought about the americas. Slavery was more of a caste system, and had nothing to do with black or white. You had rulers, advisors and counsels to those rulers, the educators, (philosophers, intellects, ect.), and you had the peasants.     Obama has done more for the middle class then anyone since clinton. The Health Care Bill was a big step. The stimmous package has keep a lot workers working and gave us a lot of new jobs. The Bush tax cuts needs to expire so that the 2% of the wealthy does not get millions in tax cut. They only have to pay 15% under the Bush tax cuts while we the middle class have to pay 33%. Obama wants to let these expire that is good. The Republicians are blocking a jobs bill in the senate right now that would create a lot of jobs for the middle class. Also it would give tax credits to corpations that keep there business in the USA. And it will cut tax incentives on business sending business over seas. Also would give small business some tax cuts that would help them on hiring more help. Also open up lending for small business with the state banks. These are the kind of bills that our country needs not bills that are just helping the rich. The Republicians have put us into a deep ression and Obama has been working hard to get us out. We need to keep the House and Senate under Democrate control so we don’t slip back into rich control and rich bills.

    Some of this is so sad. There are people convincing themselves race is not an issue yet agree with some of the racist statements being made. The ignorance of racism must be euphoric for people like that because they can enclose themselves in a circle of negativism and believe they are right. Their attention is diverted from the truth and focused on a scapegoat and the easily led fall for it.

    Slavery has its roots on many continents. People on all the continents sold their own people for money, wealth and power. The U.S. was put in the spot light for a lot of heinous acts that slaughtered man African-Americans, and destroyed families.

    As an aside for the insistent racist out there. George Washington, the so called father of this country owned slaves. One of the again so called founding fathers, 3rd president and framer of the constitution, Thomas Jefferson, owned slaves, slept with at least one and produced a child.

    It has always been amazing to me that the pure racists who, matter how poor or ignorant they are consider themselves better than other races. Consider some races animals or less than animals, filthy revolting creatures and yet white men couldn’t resist forcing their way between the legs of black female slaves and white women reveled in the glory of opening their’s to African slaves and their descendants. Both produced offspring. I guess racial superiority breeds justifiable hypocrasy.

    Let me stop because there is a wealth of things to be said about that subject.

    President Obama’s ethnic heritage is of no consequence, he is the president, lawfully elected and not fraudently appointed like his predecessor. His acadamic acalades far outweigh that of our former president. He is articulate, energetic and determined to correct all the wrongs done to this country before he took office.

    Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I believe I looked up or was given some history on Bush Jr. that indicated he was allegedly a C minus student. I did read where almost every business venture he headed failed or he had to be bailed out, many times by daddy and friends. According to the rules in place at the time his GPA should have landed him in the military fighting in Vietnam, instead his dad wrangled him a post in the National Guard and he couldn’t even do that right.

    There’s information I received in discussions about him hinting of alleged heavy alcohol consumption and uses of other so called recreational pharmaceuticals.

    Before you put me down, look it up! After I read some of the information on Bush I was simply amazed at how much can be covered up, how much media can be bought off or silenced if you have enough money or influence.

    If walking with blinders on suits your purpose then you will continue trying to blame Obama for the mess this country is in. He wasn’t president when the Bush/Cheney regime defamed the integrity of the presidency and lie to the country about WMD to get us into a war. War is big business and many have profited insanely from it while thousands have lost their lives, families destroyed and the economy is in the toilet.

    Obama promised to bring the troops home and if you read the “real news” not Foxes premeditated political lies you will see that process has started because thousands have come home and more are on the way. Once this is over the billions/trillions of dollars used to finance the war can be used to help get this country back on its feet.

    Obama wasn’t president when the economy tanked with Bush Sr. or Jr. The Repubs raped this country for 8 years straight taking away a lot of the middle classes dreams, but now there are people out there who want to lay the blame at President Obama’s feet. They complain about money he’s spending now, raving about deepening the national debt. Why weren’t all these people so vocal about Bushes spending. This country was in the throes of economic anguish when Bush was in office. Why didn’t they complain about he and his families numerous vacations(500 days),and the spending? How much money was spent to get his alcoholic daughters off?

    Whe have an educated, successful, wealthy presidential family doing no different then the presidents before him and people are complaining. If racial equality isn’t an issue why are so many complaining, especially when the Obama’s spend their own money for their lifestyle in addition to receiving the same fringe benefits as his white predecessor?

    Be honest for a change. Many of you don’t like Obama because he is your worsed nightmare…a black man at the helm of this country. A man who is being thwarted at every turn by the Republicans who brought this country to ruin. They don’t want him to succeed, if he does they really look bad. Bush had 2 terms to make this country better but made it worse and now many of you expect him to clean up the problem in less than 2 years. Think about it—those of you who voted for him did so of your own volition. You voted because you were fed up with the way things had been and the way they were in 2008. You knew his skin color, his background, his spiritual convictions, his heritage even though derrogative things were said, and still you elected him president. Intstead of trying to continually villify him, take note that he is the man in the white house, (America’s) not just yours and is trying to help rehabilitate this country. Do what you can to help, do your part and stay the course you advocated with him and see what happens. You saw what it was like before him, give yourself a chance to see what it will be like with him, and 4 years of opposition won’t make things better. Ask yourself, “do I really want another 4 years or 8 years of what the Republican’s dished out? What the Republicans did to this country?”

    All that matters now is what can we do to help this man succeed in returning this country to prosperity. Forget the bipartisanship. The Democrats didn’t have control of congress until after the 2008 elections and subsequent appointments. Don’t let the Republicans continue their devisive destructive tactics that focus on what they want, not what’s best for this country and then blame the bad results on the Democrats and the president.. They need to stop the dissention and come up with good, positive ideas to help rectify the mess they left.
