Kristen Stewart: ‘Acting is All I Have’

Kristen StewartKRISTEN Stewart says it would be “very frustrating” if she didn’t make it as an actress.

The 20-year-old — who shot to fame playing Bella in the Twilight movies — says she only knows how to act.

And she can’t even do that very well…

“I would have a lot of pent-up energy,” she said.

“It would be very frustrating. I’m not good at anything else. I’m bad with my hands. I can’t make stuff.

“Acting is so self-indulgent and self-reflective and we just think about people and how they deal with one another. That’s probably what I’d continue to do!

“I’d be the over-analytical girl who writes.”

        Sierra-They don’t have picture books in college.I don’t think the likes of Harvard,Yale,Princeton,etc would look kindly on the GED situation.In the interview with the Dean,she would have to tell them the correct reason why she quit school at 15(because the kids were being mean to her.boohoo)and had to get a GED.I don’t think the college dean would like a person that can’t handle the problems of the real world with out having a breakdown,attending his school.

      Acting isn’t all she has. She could go to college. Even if she doesn’t, she’ll figure it out. Even if she doesn’t figure it out right away, she’s not alone. There are millions who have the same problem.

Kristen Stewart in the last yr has been in films completely different from the Twilight Saga, playing Joan Jett as well as a stripper/ runaway cannot even be put into the same category as Twilight or Disney films. @ Thinker, she looks just perfect, why do people feel the need to pick at everything when it comes to KS?

    Since Kristen was a child actor and her parents were a hook up into the biz, she has no idea what it’s like to struggle or work hard, or any inkling of how the real world works. Everything has essentially been handed to her, so she has zero perspective on how good she actually has it. Even factoring in the crazy fans, she has a pretty cushy life, yet every article I’ve ever read about her she just constantly complains and bitches about EVERYTHING. She’s 20 but I get the feeling she has the mental age of a 15 year old with her temper tantrums and idiotic rebellious behavior. She’s a complete bore. Her PR people have definitely told her to cut it out, but her natural bitchy personality can’t be hidden for long. For an actress she can’t fake it very well.

      She Started out doing commercials like most young actors do…from the bottom. Her parents are in the business but it’s not as if they pushed her into anything, she has brothers and they are not in the business. She enjoys acting, not fame and there’s nothing wrong with that. Prior to playing the lead role in Twilight she was still a great actress and could be a normal person. I have read statements from SEVERAL directors that she has the LEAST demands of any actor they have worked with if any at all so I think spoiled is completely the opposite of what she is. She doesn’t like to dress up, gets nervous in interviews and is still very young. I find her VERY mature for not just her age but for being thrusted into the spotlight with a new BS article written about her daily(like this one). I was not that mature at 20 and I’m sure not many other people are “grown up” at that age either and if you say you were chances are you are a liar.

        I don’t go around flipping off anyone who upsets me, i deal with people in an adult manner and refrain from using constant profanity. I don’t go around constantly moan i hate my life because i have made those choices just as kristen has, she has had everything handed to her on a plate and is still a miserable bitch. My life isn’t perfect but when i step out the door i do not take my problems out on the rest of the world, i put a smile on my face and get on with it. For someone whose meant to be an actress she can’t even fake it for the sake of her career.

She also has said in an interview that it kills her when people say that “she doesnt care” because she is very thankful for what she has.       Taylor-I have never said I hate her as a person,I just don’t like her acting.Maybe she will and maybe she won’t develop more acting range as she gets older but that doesn’t mean I have to like her acting.It is okay if I don’t like her because you probably don’t like the same actor/actresses as I do.I see her as a indi film actress and not at the level of lets say Meryl Streep,Sandra Bullock,Jodie Foster.Halley Berry,Julia Roberts.Maybe its because I have never really gotten into the low budget indy flicks all that much.The books were great and so was the first movie but the two after it lack the luster that the first one had.

      The only reason why the regulars come back after the sheep/shippers or whatever you want to call them is because us regulars are tired of being attacked for our OPINIONS.Most of us are past the age of 22 and are tired of playing and dealing with this school yard behavior of name calling.

      Sophie: you need to get your head out of the Teen Beat magazine and read her numerous interviews in other magazines to understand that what is said about her is based on substantiated behavior, photos and her own words from her own lips. It is wrong to libel someone. If it is based on known facts, admissions and evidence, it is allowed. Free speech allows people to burn the Bible, call a cross in a jar of urine “art”, put down religions, insult leaders, make rude remarks and say unkind things. It is pretty broad and loosely defined. Her handlers can’t get her to not drop the f bomb at the Eclipse premier on camera here and tell everyone to “be healthy and F everyone” <whatever that means. I doubt they care what we say here and it has been proven over and over…Kristen could care less about her fans or detractors.

We’ve all learned that she is not an eloquent young lady, nor does she have the poise and grace necessary to navigate Hollywood successfully. But she CAN act, quite well, and she is merely 20. How many of us could have gracefully handled international superstardom at that age? I certainly couldn’t have, so I think she’s held up pretty well considering. Give her a few years to mature.

        I don’t like her because of the common reasons. But to be fair, I think she did get some projects or scripts that asking her to perform. The reason she didn’t get any new projects I think it’s because she is just picky, she used to act those trouble/angry/slut teenager roles, as you can see this is quite a narrow path for her acting career. As long as she doesn’t have to worry about money, she is in no hurry to choose some roles that she doesn’t like. This is just my guess.

    You young adults need to grow up. Quit bashing Kristen. She is a fairly good actress and she made me cry in Speak. She has done an excellent job with the Twilight series and with The Runaways. Maybe she is ackward and shy. Maybe she does not have the right influences in her life. She’s a free spirit who speaks her mind and that’s not always welcomed. There is a sweet side to her that she does not always shows. Maybe if so much negative stuff was’nt constantly written about her she would open up more. But, no matter what she says or does, it will be twisted. You be yourself Kristen and forget the haters.

    Frankly I find Kristen’s acting repetitive and monotone. I personally have nothing against her. Mature adults don’t argue with these tweens and teens, this is their thing right now let them feel what they feel. When Kristen Stewart AND Robert Pattinson show off some acting that I can sink my metaphoric teeth into then I will applaud them for it, now its an amusement to watch them. They are both quite strange to me and I like strange.
