ACTRESS Katee Sackhoff is heading to CSI.

The Battlestar Galactica beauty and recent 24 alum is joining the cast of the hit crime series in a potentially recurring role, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Sackhoff was CSI producers’ first choice to replace Jorja Fox three years ago, but it didn’t work out.

Sackhoff will play Detective Reed, a smart, tough, and feisty investigator with an acknowledged lack of sensitivity. Her first episode is slated to air during November sweeps.
