GWYNETH PALTROW HAS BEEN BANNED FROM GOING NEAR SCARLETT JOHANSSON!

Gwyneth PaltrowGWYNETH Paltrow has been banned from going near Scarlett Johansson!

The pair clashed on the she set of Iron Man 2 when Scarlett, 25, took on the role of femme fatale Russian spy character Black Widow.

Gwyneth — who plays Iron Man’s feisty PA Pepper Potts — was left furious when her younger rival received more attention in the publicity campaign and made her displeasure known to film bosses.

Producers are now planning to give Scarlett her own role in a break-out movie — but they want British actress Emily Blunt, not Paltrow, for the next Iron Man installment.

“The plan is to cast Scarlett as the Black Widow in a spin-off film with Robert Downey Jnr called The Avengers,” a source told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper.

“They are desperate to have Emily as the villain in the next Iron Man film and will continue to have Gwyneth playing Pepper, though she won’t feature in The Avengers.”

Reports last year claimed Gwyneth — who’s married to Coldplay rocker Chris Martin – was unpopular on the Iron Man 2 set.

“Gwyneth is not friendly to anyone, and tends to make people feel awkward and uncomfortable,” a source said at the time. “She wasn’t outright rude to Scarlett, she just didn’t ever speak to her. Gwyneth went out of her way to avoid Scarlett, and they had zero contact, at Gwyneth’s choosing.

“Gwyneth would be very put out if hair and makeup were running behind or things were not on schedule. Usually, nothing was drastically late, but Gwyneth can instantly say something that lets everyone know she is put out.

“Much of the crew didn’t mind hanging out with her husband, Chris, but if Gwyneth ever came around, they scattered! Chris is so chill and relaxed and she is just the opposite. Chris has been a crew favorite since the filming of the first movie.”

“She is not going anywhere,” adds the source. “As long as Gwyneth wants to be in the movies, she will be, and the crew has to learn how to handle her.”

      It may not be that way at all. I think most of us have met someone we just KNOW we won’t like – and low and behold, we’re right – we don’t like them. We’ve all had someone that we clash with. The article said that she went out of her way to avoid Ms. Johansson. they had zero contact at Gwyneth’s choosing. Could it be that she KNEW there would be a conflict, so to avoid that happening, it was best that they stay away from each other. That should really be seen in her favor. It’s FAR better than going out of her way to have contact knowing there would be trouble. She took the high road and avoided it altogether. We all avoid people that set us off rather than seek the confrontation – unless someone’s a total idiot. Besides, there was no mention about Ms. Johansson’s part in the clash, how she felt about it, etc. This IS a tabloid blog where they RARELY give you both sides of the story.

    Gwenth needs to remember she is representing the Paltrow name.She needs to remember who are her mother is(Blyth Danner) and her late grate father and what they have done so she can be successful.They opened alot of doors for so she could break into the business and recieve her Oscar.

    If she doesn’t like that the hair and makeup people are running slow she should either bring her own people or get to hair and makeup earlier.

    She also doesn’t need to worry about Scarlett Johanson getting more press than her.There are enough entertainment sights,magazines for each of them to be featured.

Scarlett is not my fave actress. what i can only say IMO is that Gwyn might be insecure coz she’s the older actress, she isn’t that “in” anymore while Scarlett is younger, fresher, and way sexier…i can imagine the possibility of her diva attitude. she has never really been the down to earth type.

She acts like she’s arrived a buddy’s house to hang out, she talks trash and focuses on the men to get them going. It’s not about how she looks, there are lots of hot looking girls on most sets- hair and make-up, stand ins-etc. Scarlett is a hot girl but without the hair a make-up, she could mix in anywhere. Gyneth, with her professionalism and height- when she talks on the set, you want to quiet down and do your work.     To be honest,given the superiority of the original Iron Man 2 fell drastically short and was a bit disappointing to me.
