Tina Turner’s Sister Dies

Tina TurnerLEGEND Tina Turner is in mourning after the sudden death of her older sister.

The What’s Love Got to Do with It? hitmaker, 70, dropped her busy schedule earlier this week to fly from Europe to California after being told that Alline, 73, was gravely ill.

Tina and Alline had grown up together in Tennessee, wrote songs together and raised their families within blocks of each other. They remained close throughout the years.

Tina rushed to the hospital in LA — and arrived only hours before her elder sibling passed away.

“Thankfully, that was enough time for Tina to say goodbye,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

    Please note you have my deepest condolences during this time. I pray you and your family gather the strength and know that the Good Lord is watching over your sister as only his loving presence can. We all have lost someone and I am here to tell you from first hand experience – it will get better. Today, September 11th is the 5 year passing of my later mother, Sallie M. Williams. So, please believe me when I tell you you are not alone at this time. I wish you health, strength and a safe flight home to Europe on your return. I will be praying for you and others, especially today with the loss of so many during the tragic 9-11 tragedies! Good Bless us all and keep our loved ones safe!
