Lily Allen Buys £3m Country House!

LILY Allen has great taste when it comes to property!
The singer — who’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Cooper — has splashed out a reported £3m on a new six-bedroom house in the Cotswolds, which is in the UK.
The 17th century Old Overtown House is surrounded by a National Trust estate and is an Area of Outstanding Beauty at Cranham, near Painswick, Gloucestershire, according to Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper.
Allen is also believed to have chosen the house because it is situated near to her father Keith’s house, around five miles way in Minchinhampton.
The property — which comes complete with six bedrooms, five bathrooms and three receptions rooms in the main house — also boasts a three-bedroom cottage in the grounds.
“Yes, she is the buyer of Old Overtown House — that’s absolutely correct,” said a spokeswoman at the Cirencester offices of estate agent Savills.
“It’s all gone through and she is now the proud new owner. There have been rumors for a while that she is buying it but we have not been able to say anything till now.
“She no longer wants it kept secret, it is a done deal.
“It enjoys the most wonderful uninterrupted views over the unspoiled surrounding countryside, framed by broad leafed woodland.
“It is approached down a long driveway, protected by the National Trust owned Ebworth Estate, a beautiful untouched piece of rural England.
“Many of the period details still remain including an array of fine stone fireplaces, polished timber and stone floors, carved door architraves and exposed beams.
“The gardens and grounds are a particular feature of the property and provide a peaceful and safe haven.
“These include a productive Kitchen Garden, Rose Garden, Parterre, Water Garden and probably the best croquet lawn in Gloucestershire.”
