Justin Bieber Had to Slum it When Parents Split

Justin BieberTEEN sensation Justin Bieber says he and his mom were forced to live in a “small, shabby apartment” when his parents split.

The Baby hitmaker admits he found it tough when his mother and father decided to go their separate ways.

“My parents split up when I was really young I grew up with my mum — and not much money,” Justin said.

“After my parents split up, mum and I lived in a small, shabby apartment but despite our financial situation we were always a good team.

“It’s sad for a kid when a parent leaves, it doesn’t make you feel very good but now being in the position that I am, when I look back, it’s like ‘I’m so blessed.’”

Bieber, 16, recently revealed he wants a girlfriend — but is also keen to stay single!

“I’m kind of looking, but I’m kind of trying to stay single,” he said.

“An ideal girl is someone who is funny — who can make me laugh. And someone who has nice eyes and a nice smile.”

“My mom didn’t even want me dating, but that kind of didn’t work.”
