Posted by Adam

Kelly McGillisKELLY McGillis is a married woman.

The Top Gun actress — who came out as gay in 2009 — wed girlfriend Melanie Leis in a civil union on Wednesday in Collingswood, NJ, according to the New York Times.

McGillis — who starred alongside Tom Cruise in the smash hit eighties’ movie — and Muzak sales executive Leis, 42, met in 2000 in Key West, Fla. Leis was a bartender at a restaurant owned by McGills and her second husband Fred Tillman.

Kelly — who has been divorced twice and has two daughters with Tillman — told the New York Times this week of last year’s surprise “coming out”.

“That was one of those moments when somebody asked me a question, my kids had gone from home, so I really didn’t have to protect anyone by skirting the question, and I just decided to be absolutely honest,” she said.

Not another one. What’s this world turning into? Meredith Baxter and now THIS dog? Funny how these confused birds always seem to “come out” after they’ve lost their sexual appeal, but why do these idiots have to pervert the institution of marriage just to canonize their own mental illnesses?
