The hunky Twilight star, 24, says he’s planning to set up his own movie and music production company.

“I want to start a thing that encompasses music, film and writing as well,” he said.

“I don’t think I’ve established myself enough in film and definitely not music, I haven’t done anything in music.

“Yeah. I think you need to have a lot of goodwill towards you to get one really going.

“You look at George Clooney‘s company and stuff like that, they make great movies which wouldn’t be made otherwise, and Leonardo DiCaprio‘s company as well. He’s got really great people working there, they’ve all got really good taste and he’s made a lot of people a lot of money. I can’t start now but I want everything all at once.”

Sources recently revealed that Rob’s agent, , Stephanie Ritz, has been busy trying to convince him to release his own album.

“Stephanie’s encouraging Rob to get his music career off the ground, which he is hugely passionate about,” a source revealed.

    let me get this straight. a model, an actor, a musician, and now a business man ” a hollywood mogal “? woowey kazowey batman! we have the multi tasker of all times alive and well living in the US of A!! i wonder if the man has ADD seems he starts projects and nerver really completes them. sorts of half assed , would’t ya say?

    court jester, he was saying that is what he would like to do but can’t right now. Read the article. And good for him if that’s what he wants to do. I think it’s funny in the TW dvd where he and KS and the director talk about the movie and what occurred KS brought up the script her mom wrote and that they haven’t been able to get financing for the movie. Rob asked her why she didn’t come to him that he would do it. I guess he read the script and didn’t like it because it never happend. But he was the exec. prod on Remember Me which by the way made triple the profit and the investers were very happy. He just wants to make good films, he likes unusual content much like the books he reads. I would love to see Ballad of a Sad Cafe’ done. It’s depressing but deep and has been successful on stage but bombed when it was made into a movie awhile back. I think it’s too short of a story to be a full on movie and should be done as a movie made for TV. I hope Rob reads this because I think it would be a great project for him. MORE POWER TO YA ROB>ignor the fools who don’t want you to give back to the acting community.

    carly..you might want to check out ks’s mum’s script. i never said rp was a fool or had bad taste in films, just a dreamer. he must first walk the walk before he talks the talk. remember me doesn’t count( out of his own mouth)

    He can be successful I think if he breaks away from Summit and the twilight mania.I hope that he doesn’t get typecasted as a vampire. If WFE is successful in theaters he maybe taken more seriously by the bigger studios.

    i am very much afraid both ks and rp’s star value will diminish greatly after the twi horse and poney show is over. ks will continue in indy films.she has no drawing power with adult movie goers. even adults are not interested in teenage hooker movies. rp has shown himself and hollywood that he is not serious about his career choices, either acting nor his music. at this point he is looked upon as a taleneted wayward child play acting. i thought he could be an oscar contender until recently. i now don’t think he has the stamina nor the will to be anything out of the ordinary. he has allowed his personnel life to become out of control and lost much of his mature fan base. i am afraid seasoned actors are not interested in the teeny bopper drama that he brings to the set with him. his present fans are tired of the charade. even the very young and gullible will seek out new thrills. that is inevitable. two more years of twilight will mark those two for life. they might as well take the money and run, as they will be forever imprinted in the minds of the public as bella and edward.

    No offense Court Jester but WHAT? Really? How is he not showing or proving himself as serious to HW, do you even live in LA? Remeber Me may have been an INDIE film but his costars are class A actors and one was an oscar winning actor and he was the Executive Producer and received high praise from the senior actors and a job well done. Bel Ami, again, A list actors star in the film with him. Let’s talk WFE… not an INDIE or foriegn film. BIG PRODCUTION and co-stars with 2 oscar winning actors. His choices in films is exactly what they should be for Hollywood to take him seriously. At least he’s not smothering us with romantic comedy’s or action films. He is taking on more serious films that are based on books. I see that as a classy move. KS is taking a different route but also very well respected by big time actors… doing INDIE films is the new hip thing to do with “serious” actors so they can get away from big hollwyood to do more artsy type movies and express themselves without having big hollywood breathging down their backs and chaging things for the big money. Rob is definately on the right track. His personal life is no big deal in Hollywood. The only people concerned are the old fashioned fans who forget he’s not Edward. Frankly, he is acting better than most 24 year olds I have known including when I was younger. My nieces party more than he does and they go to college, get great grades and work too. so he is having a little fun in his off time after working 16 hour days for months. Give him a break!

      Personally I’m going to wait for WFE and BA as I think they’ll be his benchmark. There’ll be a fork in the road at that point depending on how he does. If he does well he’ll be laughing and if not it may be curtains on the good job offers. I disregard TW cos its such a limited character and when I think of his earlier work, he’s shown such incredible potential.

    carly unfortunately bel amis does not have a distrib. yet, this is not a good sign for a film. europe will be the first to get the flick. and the french will be the toughest critics as the writer of the book was one of their own. there are alot of double entendres in the origional book that may not have been captured in the film version. and particularly not in english. it has been previewed and has had bad reviews.

    unbound captives has been moved back and the backing lost. there is no date for that film. rob is now too old and will be older still after breaking dawn. so no unbound captives for him.

    wfe may be the saving grace for him, maybe not. time will only tell. he has had no offers of late. the word on the street is that few want to work with him.

    fewer want to work with ks.

    their stars are starting to sputter. after twilight it will be back to the drawing board for both.

    i do live in L.A. right downtown in the middle of hollywood.

      So CJ why does he keep hanging with her? I mean it really is a hazard for both of them. i really do not care about her career but why would Rob through it all away for this PR relay and that is clearly what it is.

    id say he is stuck right in the middle of the mess he has made for himself. look to his past. his arrogance got him fired from one set and deleated from the movie vanity fair. perhaps his arrogance is getting the better of him again. his agent is certainly trying to keep him out of trouble. stewart does not appear to be bothered. perhaps he does not like to be told what to do.

      Good point I heard that. That is why he does not have a PR peson which he is in dire need of. It makes sense but he is killing his career what a shame!!!

    Robert and Kristen are both very good actors, in their early stages. I am not a young person, but a 61 year old cinemophile since age 8. I LOVE movies, even the silent ones.I watch the same ones over again to study the nuances, the lighting, etc. I hope that KS and RP do not get caught up in the Hollywood hype and just allow their craft to grow as they both mature. By many standards, they seem to conduct themselves without controversy, so give them both a break. How were any of us doing at age 20, 24? I was a weekend flowerchild, so I really wish them both the best.
