Justin Bieber to Star in Bill and Ted Remake?

The Baby singer, 16, is in talks to star in a remake of quirky comedy Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure — but moviemakers are having trouble finding a suitable sidekick for the star.

Insiders say Justin has been approached about playing Ted, a rock loving California kid who stumbles upon a time traveling phone box — a role that made Keanu Reaves a household name back in 1989.

“Justin’s role in this project is a given but the movie is being held up by the task of finding the right kid to play Bill,” a source said.

“The producers are torn between casting an unknown as a lesser costar and finding anther teenage actor who can share top billing with Justin.”

Recent reports claimed Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, banned him from dating was caught kissing Jasmine Villegas, who is part of his opening act, in the back of a Honda.

“Pattie’s freaking out that she’s losing control of her boy,” a source said. “And she’s afraid that his obsession with girls is sapping his time and energy, and jeopardizing his music career.

“Pattie warned her son about Hollywood social climbing and told him Jasmine could be just using him to further her own career.

“But it pretty much went in one ear and out the other. When it comes to girls, Justin’s out of control.

“Right now his mom says girls are a complication he doesn’t need.”

    He’s a cute kid but I just don’t see him as being Ted or Bill or even in the movie. They need to find decent actors, not singers who want to be actors. The movie will flop because they are stupid.

    Justin Bieber is talented and he can pull this off. He isn’t a “baby” he’s almost 17…and if his mom is giving him a hard time she’d be wise to lay off, since how this Hollywood story usually goes is “turns 17, gets emancipated, fires mom, and says ‘see ya’ “…He will get the role and the film will be HUGE with not only teens but the older people who remember the first movie. You will all be converts…it is futile to resist…U will all fall under the control of the power of the Biebs…this is Bieber’s world, and you’re just living in it.

    Part 3 or remake, it doesn’t matter as long as the actors still talk the surfer language! Justin Beiber would be cool to see take on the role of Ted. Plus people who hate Justin Bieber, look at it like this: If the movie is a flop, then it would certainly ruin his career entirely, which is fine to me.
