Jennifer Aniston ‘Tried to Stop Cox, Arquette Split’

Jennifer AnistonJENNIFER Aniston tried to stop best pal Courteney Cox from leaving husband David Arquette.

Aniston is said to be “shocked and saddened” by the collapse of her friend’s 11 year marriage because she did her best to help the couple get their romance back on track.

“Jen has a reputation of being ruthless in her own love life but she’s been the exact opposite with Courtney and David,” a source said.

“She is desperate for Courteney to try and work things out and hopeful David will see sense to.

“She’s worried for their little girl and doesn’t want them to make the same mistakes she has. Jen says David and Courteney are meant to be together, no matter what they are going through.”

Sources recently revealed that Aniston hopes Cox doesn’t rush to divorce Arquette.

“Jen has known for some time that the couple was in trouble but hoped and prayed they would be able to work it out,” a pal told Pop Eater.

“No one knows how painful divorce is more than Jen and she hopes they don’t rush into it without exhausting every possibility to say together.

“Goodness knows Courteney supported Jen during her breakup with Brad Pitt. Now it’s Jens turn to be to supportive. After all, isn’t that what a friend is for.”
