MARK Wahlberg is no longer a “badass”!

The Hollywood hunk says he’s tamed his wild ways since starting a family with wife Rhea Durham.

“Yeah, even today doing these photoshoots I was doing earlier. They want me to pull all these silly faces, but that’s just not me. I can’t do that,” he said.

“It’s not that I think I’m too cool, then the guy was like, ‘OK, no problem. We can do the badass look, then’, and I’m like, ‘Well, I’m not really a badass either!’

“You know, I’m a dad. I grew up in an edgy environment and had to navigate through a pretty tough world, so I was required to appear a badass, but I’m past all that now.”

Wahlberg and Durham raise four children together — 7-year-old Ella, 4-year-old Michael, 2-year-old Brendan and 8-month-old Grace.

Mark recently admitted he chooses tough guy roles to impress his friends.

“I am a bit self-conscious,” he said. “I grew up in a tough neighborhood and it’s cool if you’re playing a tough guy, but playing the vulnerable guy, the guy who doesn’t win and who doesn’t get the girl, that is always in the back of my minds as a potential concern.

“Too often I have wanted approval from my peers back home and respect from guys in general but as an actor you’ve got to be able to do different things.”
