KRISTEN STEWART MOANS ABOUT BEING A SUPERSTAR — YET AGAIN!

Kristen StewartKRISTEN Stewart is on her soap box again.

The actress — who shot to fame playing Bella Swan in the Twilight movie franchise — has bemoaned her superstar status — because she doesn’t see herself as a celebrity.

“Nothing about being a celebrity is desirable,” she said. “I’m an actor. It’s bizarre to me that everybody’s so obsessive.

“I don’t want to be a movie star like Angelina Jolie.”

Kristen — who’s believed to be dating her Twilight costar Robert Pattinson — recently admitted her grandparents believed the rumors she was pregnant with the British actor’s baby.

“I had my grandparents call my mom when people thought I was pregnant for a while,” she said.

“I don’t really know why but my grandparents believed it. They were convinced. My mom was like ‘You guys, you have to stop reading all this stuff, because that’s not the case. You should stop reading magazines in the grocery store’.”

Recent reports claimed Rob and Kristen are hoping to a achieve a “Johnny Depp level of fame”.

“After Twilight they are aiming for a Johnny Depp level of fame — to work when they want but to get peace and quiet when they don’t,” a source said.

“Right now, neither has accepted a role after Twilight so they may even take a whole year off.

“They think it’ll do them good to disappear for a while as they’re both in danger of being overexposed.

“Kristen knows Keira Knightley, who went on a Himalayan trek a few years ago to get some perspective on the madness of Hollywood. She’s convinced she and Rob should do the same. She wants them to just be a boy and a girl hanging out together.”

        We don’t need to spend the day with her to draw our opinions of her behavior, she isn’t giving us anything else to work with. We don’t spend the day with the President either, are you suggesting we haven’t the right to speak about what he does or says? When you make millions off our ticket sales, it would simply be nice to appear more grateful, it’s not rocket science, just common courtesy.

      Anna, you are the one making assumptions. It is very obvious “haha” meant she is always like this in interviews. It didn’t have anything in that post about knowing her. That is what an interview is for. To give the public a chance to see what it is like to talk to them while they aren’t acting like a character. If they decide to use that chance to pretend even more to be someone they aren’t, then they almost want us to believe they are that person they show in interviews. Thought I’d point that out.

      she’s right though, there is nothing desirable about fame. people who want fame are just vain. she was truly blessed before, she isn’t now. before she was getting good work and decent reviews and she wasn’t haveing to deal with all the media crap. now she does. i mean think about it, she can’t even go for a bloody walk. yes she’s rich and probably has a much easier time getting films made, i’m sure she’s grateful for that but i’m also sure that there are alot of negative aspects to being a famous actor. also you tell her to be happy, and although i agree she should be grateful and know how lucky she is (which personally i think she does, but i don’t know) i still don’t think that anyone is under any obligation to be happy. for some people it’s just not in their nature to be happy. it’s not a matter of wether they are grateful or not.

    ashleigh, have you ever read Emily Dickinson. She once wrote, “Success is counted sweetness, by those who ne’er succeed”. in other words, people who have not experienced success (or fame) assume that it’s the most wonderfull thing. i don’t want to continue argueing. like you i don’t think actors should complain, i think they are lucky to be working, to have alot of money and to be able to take a holiday whenever they feel like it. the only point i was making with this article is that fame as in red carpet, designer clothes, loads of fans, glamour, all of that is not desirable or important. and also that there are negative aspects to fame. personally if i was a working actor, who suddenly became famouse like ks, i would stop making films and i would either quit for good (depending on how much money i had) or i’d transfer to theater. the other point i was making is that you can’t know a person just by reading an article or watching an interview of them. you just can’t. none of us know wether she’s ungrateful or not.

    She’s a very young girl, who before now, wasn’t that famous..and now she’s trying to have a genuine romance with someone she cares for..with all these cameras stuck in thier faces ALL the time. I can see where that would really suck (pun intended, hahaha). Seriously, it would, especially if you had to figure out how to deal with it overnight. I don’t see her as a whiner, or ungrateful. I think she’s just young, inexperienced with and surprised by her fame, and she wants to do the job she loves while keeping her private life private.     shadow, ashleigh and others i’ve argued with you are all stupid, some of you seem to think fame is important and what’s more desire it. i have a hard life as well you know, i have to pay bills, look after kids, run around doing the same errons as you lot, i don’t get holidays, but i would rather live the way i do now than be famous. the other thing is that you think you can know someone by watching interviews of them and reading articles of them but it is a fact that you can’t and i will tell you why. lots of people have seen interviews of kristen stewart and read the same articles as you, but not all of them hate her. some like her, so one side has to be wrong while the others are right. she is either a good person or a bad person, people have different opinions even though they’ve all read the same stuff, seen the same stuff as you. now, if you could know a person after reading all that crap, then there wouldn’t be as much of a debate between people who like her and people who don’t. the majority of people would have the same opinion of her, which they certainly don’t. now the problem i have with you two is your certainty that you are right. i have this problem with people who say they love her as well, how can you love someone you don’t know? that is why i choose to not have an opinion of her but instead choose to dislike people who do but refuse to accept they could be wrong, because honestly, it’s stupid. you don’t know her.

I don’t understand why some people are angry with her for bemoaning the glitz and glamour, which is often annoyingly pretentious.     it’s ok for her to moan. i’ll tell you why. there are two different types of fame, fame that she has, which is ridiculous, absurd and worthless, and then fame that for example a shakespear actor might have, which is just respect from middle and higher class people. those actors don’t have to deal with paparazzi, or ridiculous teenage girls obssesing over them. Now people who want the kind of fame KS has don’t have any right to complain because that’s the path they chose. they chose to be actors and they chose to do the popular movies and the big bidget films, and the fame is what is earning them vast amounts of money and letting them work. however, KS does independant films or low budget films. she chose a career that alows her to do what she loves without risking fame. if she wanted fame then she would have done the teen films and the big budget films. she did not ask for this, it was a total mistake, therefor she has every right to point out the absurdity of it, and is under no obligation to be grateful. some people argue that she shouldn’t have done twilight. but may i point out that not only has she said she had never heard of the books before, but also that every one else says the same. i mean i’m sure some people had heard of them, but i certainly hadn’t and neither had anybody i know. interviewers as well have said to her that they didn’t know what she was talking about when they asked her what she was doing next and she responded “twilight”. the other reason she couldn’t have known the success of it, is the fact that they had such a difficult time getting a production company and when they did find some producers they got a really low budget. it’s also worth pointing out that unlike films like Harry Potter, twilight didn’t attract any big actors until the second film. she couldn’t have known what would happen, it was clearly a mistake, and after twilight i’m willing to bet that she will be sticking to indipendent films like she planned to do in the first place.

    Okay– this is just my opinion. Most likely K. Stew and some of the other actors from Twilight will just end up like a lot of actors that have done movie Sagas. One movie, right after the other, playing the same character. Such as the original Star Wars films from the late 1970,s/early 1980′s. After all the Twilight movies have been made, seen, etc., K. Stew will not be popular and go away. Such as Carrie Fisher that played Princess Laya, despite her famous parents. Yes- Harrison Ford went on to do many films, but the actors that played Luke and Princess Laya went by the wayside. Peace everyone!

    I seen Twilight in the cinema, and OMG it was the worst 2hrs of my life, I kept hoping she would get better, but she got worse! I watched New Moon on the internet, she sucked again…Eclipse? yet again, she sucked.
    I haven’t watched her other movies, but a few friends of mine who seen her movies say she acts the same way: lip biting, touching her hair and generally being awkward. She seriously needs some acting lessons, she’s SO overrated it’s unbelievable. And that Robert dude isn’t any better, just for people who might think I am “so jealous” of their relationship, I am not.
    She sucks.

    Kristen has said NUMEROUS times that she’s beyond grateful to her fans and that she’s able to do what she loves. What she’s NOT happy about is the constant harassment of the paparazzi, which you’d think more people would understand. Some of you should try have hordes of people following you around, everywhere you go, trying to take pictures of every little thing you do, and see how you feel at the end of the day.

    There’s a huge difference between wanting to be an actor and wanting to be a star. Kristen has nearly always chosen small indie films (which if any of you knew what you were talking about before you went off on tangents bashing her, is what Twilight originally was, before it blew up into this phenomenon), and has never once thrown herself into the spotlight. Therefore, she has every right to say that she doesn’t want, or necessarily even like, all the attention she’s getting. She never sought it out.

    She wants to act. Not be some hugely famous, top-of-the-line star.

    And for those who say she shouldnt have gone after roles “obviously” destined to be huge – really now. Have you seen Twilight? It’s only teenyboppers fans that it’s huge. The movie was shit. Everyone in it was shit because the producer and director and screenwriter were shit. The book is mediocre, at best. It was never ~destined to become so huge. You can blame all the 13 year old fangirls you know for that. Not Kristen.
