Chaz Bono’s Mom Cher Finding it Difficult to Adjust to Sex Change

CherCHER is still getting used to her daughter’s sex change.

Chastity Bono had the procedure in 2009 so she could live as a man. Bono then changed her name to Chaz.

And the superstar singer admits she’s having a tough time getting to grips with the situation.

“Well, she’s a very smart girl — boy! This is where I get into trouble. My pronouns are [bleeped]. I still don’t remember to call her ‘him,’ ” the superstar tells Krista Smith in the new Vanity Fair.

Cher — who stars alongside Christina Aguilera in new movie Burlesque – can barely imagine undergoing such a transformation:

“If I woke up tomorrow in a guy’s body, I would just kick and scream and cry and [bleeping] rob a bank, because I cannot see myself as anything but who I am — a girl. I would not take it as well as Chaz has,” she said.

Recent reports claimed Cher is planning a musical collaboration with Lady GaGa.

“They are now like mother and daughter,” said author Mark Bego, who has written two books about Cher.

“They both take their outlandish fashion sense dead seriously, both have a sense of humor about themselves, and they are both staunch gay rights activists.

“They’ve talked about performing in concert together — and perhaps even recording a duet.”

    Chaz needs some work on his face, like major lipo on that massive double chin.

    the way Cher has to look at it is that Chaz was as miserable in a female body as Cher would be in a males. That is what I have to think about to understand. Her ‘son’ needs her support. I think the general public has an easier time with it than Cher does…

      I love God and I love science. The two are not exclusive from each other.

      But if your opinion came from either one, I hate your “version” of God and have an even deeper despising with your “theory” of science.

    Chaz is not a ‘he.’ It is a butchered ‘she.’

    You can put a Ferrari body kit on a Fiero chassis, but do you have a Ferrari? No, you have a chopped up Fiero.

    Chastity is ill and terribly confused, but she…now it…will never, ever, ever be a ‘he’ in the eyes of nature. Ever.

      Your brutal definition of what another person’s decision to do with their own body is apalling.

      Where does it end with you, Anchovi? Tattoos? Piercings? Circumcisions? Abortions (I think I have my answer on that one already).

      If God came down to earth to see what all his people were doing in HIS name, he’d never stop vomitting !!

    I remember Chaz as Chastity on the Sonny and Cher Show. She was so tiny and sweet.

    I guess she, now he, has to do what feels right and comfortable to do.
