HEIDI MONTAG AND SPENCER PRATT ADMIT DIVORCE WAS A BIG OLD SHAM FOR A REALITY TV SHOW!!!

Heidi MontagHEIDI Montag‘s split from husband Spencer Pratt was a big sham to keep the couple in the press.

Pratt admits he and Heidi concocted a plan to get attention by divorcing shortly after their anniversary. He says there was interest in a series covering their split from British TV network ITV, so they splashed down cash to move their act to Costa Rica. But that deal fell through and soon after, they called off the divorce proceedings and reunited.

“The divorce was real — just the idea behind it was different than most people’s,” Spencer tells America’s Life & Style magazine.

“Divorcing was the only way to keep Heidi’s career going because everyone hated me so much. Look at Sandra Bullock — her divorce from Jesse James was the best thing to happen to her image.

“I can’t make regular money because I was playing such an unlikeable character on TV to keep my checks coming. Who wants to hire the jerk from The Hills?”

Spencer and Heidi recently revealed that they are considering filing for bankruptcy and are homeless after squandering a whopping $10m.

“We were immature, worrying too much about the famous part instead of the actual business part,” Spencer said.

“In hindsight, we shouldn’t have spent any of our money. We should have been low-key and saved.

“We spoke with a bankruptcy attorney and I’ve looked into unemployment checks.

“We thought The Hills was going to be like 90210 and we’d have another five to 10 years.

“The ratings were consistent. But we never saw Jersey Shore coming. Before, TV audiences were fine with seeing us all argue, but now they want you to punch one another in the face and hook up with three different people. Our cast was a bit boring and snoozeworthy in comparison. No wonder we got canceled.

“I feel like I’m 14 years old again.

“My parents are my lifeline.

“We don’t want sympathy. We did this to ourselves and feel like idiots. But we’ve grown up and are definitely not as naive anymore.”

    How can he say that Sandra Bullock’s divorce made her more famous? Sandra has always been a great actress and won an Oscar way before any of the divorce drama started.

    To earn money, why don’t they just behave? Show up sweet and reformed and normal. Admit they made mistakes. Behave humble. Admit that they understand that being followed by cameras does not make them superstars or likable, but only freaks that other people use for money. Show their human side. Do good in the world. SHOW they changed (not just say it). Good luck.

Oh that’s right you chose Spencer over your friendship. Don’t see Lauren filing for bankruptcy. Well Heidi at least you know you will be able to keep something from your bankruptcy.     Did he really say that a divorce helped Sandra Bullocks career? Okay, let’s get this straight. Sandra Bullock was already loved and had a career when her divorce happened. People felt bad for her because they loved her and didn’t feel she deserved what was happening. Her divorce was not for publicity. She experienced real hurt. That’s why Heidi and Spencer will never be loved (by a large fan base) or famous.

      No shit,the divorce was publicity.This whole thing was publicity.These two wouldn’t be where they are on the c- list if it wasn’t for Lauren Conrad.They should be thankful they were even talked about.He would just be some rich kid hanging out at coffee shops in LA and Heidi would still be living in Colorado if we had not come to know Lauren Conrad when she was on Laguna Beach and then The Hills.Why don’t these two just give it up and realize they will never be at Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworths level.

    I’ll tell you something. This guy reminds me of Paul Snider, the creep who lived off Dorothy Stratten and then killed her because she eventually rejected him. Look at this guy and it’s clear he’s a real loser – and he knows it. That’s not to say that Heidi is much better but at least she’s got assets that will translate into cash. If she dumps him, she better get a few bodyguards. This Spencer is crazy enough to kill her.

    I find it funny that poor Heidi’s mom goes on TV to share her story of how she and Heidi’s father are broke, have no jobs and lost their resturant, and now all of a sudden, WAIT!! Spencer and Heidi are broke too?!!! WHATEVER, they are loaded and this is another desperate attempt for attention. Her mom got it, and people like her mom, people don’t like Heidi anymore…and yeah, I may be writing about them and giving them what they want, but once a skunk, always a skunk…..
