VANESSA Minnillo must be feeling loved!

The star recently got engaged to her hunky boyfriend Nick Lachey — and, according to a new report, her ring cost a whopping $125,000!

The ring is a platinum, Asscher cut diamond with trapezoids on the side from designer Bader & Garrin.

Jewelry expert Michael O’Connor told Us Weekly that the center stone is approximately 4 carats. “The platinum setting…makes this a classic ring, but the trapezoid diamonds give it a modern twist,” O’Connor adds.

Minnillo, who turns 30 on Tuesday, “loves” the ring, a source said.

The newly engaged pair are “so happy, doing great,” the source adds. “Thrilled about it.”

Meanwhile, one person not too happy about Nick and Vanessa’s engagement is his ex-wife Jessica Simpson.

“Even though Jessica wants to be happy for Nick, this is a very difficult time for her,” a source told the PopEater website.

“Nick was the love of her life then, man, and he was her first, so she will always have a very special place in her heart for him. She’s deeply saddened.

“Nick knows what it’s like to lose someone that you love and wasn’t going to let it happen again.

“He never thought he would ever get married again after Jessica broke his heart. He never thought he would ever allow himself to be vulnerable again, but after dating for a long time he trusts Vanessa and knows she’s the girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with.”
