JENNIFER GREY IS DEVASTATED THAT SHE COULDN’T SAY GOODBYE TO PATRICK SWAYZE

Jennifer GreyJENNIFER Grey was left devastated when she couldn’t say goodbye to her dear friend Patrick Swayze — insiders say.

The actress — who’s currently taking part on Dancing With the Stars — has told her close friends that her Dirty Dancing costar’s widow, Lisa Niemi, wouldn’t allow her to see Patrick before he died.

“Jennifer says she and Patrick had a very special bond. Although they had not seen each other for a while, they stayed in touch,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“When she heard he had terminal cancer, she was very upset. After that, she called often to talk and boost his spirits.

“Lisa allowed only immediate family and very close friends in the house to say goodbye to Patrick because that’s what she said he wanted.

“Lisa wasn’t trying to be difficult, but Patrick knew thousands of people and considered all of them ‘friends.’ So who do you decide should be there as he’s dying?

“Lisa felt she had to say ‘no’ to Jennifer.”

Grey previously revealed Swayze inspired her to take part on DWTS.

“Patrick was one of the most fearless people I’ve ever met,” she said.

“[He] really embraced life and was all about going for it.

“I have been living my life very differently [to how Patrick lived his], and right now — especially since his passing, and my surgeries and having had cancer myself, and turning 50, and seeing so many of my friends with cancer who are my age — it’s kind of [an] epidemic.

“It’s given me a sense of, ‘If not now, when?’ When are you supposed to reclaim the joy that you had as a young person?”

    I don’t know why she got a nose job in the first place it was like her signature…her trademark like Streisand’s nose. I never thought Grey was pretty but she is not good look at all without her nose that accented her very high cheek bones. now instead of seeing just nose i just see she her high cheeks.

    I about freaked out when I first saw what Jennifer had done to her nose. Whatever else she had done, she absolutly did not look like Baby from the movie. I thought it was the money that went to her head. I think she was beautiful with what the good Lord had given her. I feel embarrassed for her for the way she is treating people on DWTS. You reap what you sow. I hope she can handle whatever comes her way. Good luck, Jennifer. My prayers are with you. Maybe you should try praying. Patrick knows how you felt about him.     It’s my understanding that they spent the whole summer trying to perfect a simple scene (the water scene). When you spend that much time with someone, there’s going to be an attraction, friendship or whatever. A simple goodbye was not too much to ask for someone you’ll never see again. Think about it, someone you’ll never see or hear from again.

    Oh please, she is beautiful regardless of age but at 50, she is a knockout. I love how after her father came and gave her a pep talk (the show must go on) she stopped kvetching and started kicking azz! Her dancing is exquisite and I hope to see her working again in movies and dancing too!

    As I recall….after the making of Dirty Dancing the word was that Jennifer and Patrick did not get along at all while making the movie. So is Jennifer “using” Patrick’s death to her advantage? Me think so!!!!!!!!!!

    Am I crazy? Weren’t Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey known and established to despise one another when Dirty Dancing was being filmed? That story was confirmed from multiple sources.

    I know the man is at peace but can’t she at least stop from trying to profit from off of his name and work? Let the man rest in peace already!

    Come on girls, She is beautiful. I love her dancing, she is a graceful lady with class.
    If she wanted her nose done then so-be-it! We all have our downfalls. None of us are perfect.
    Obviously she has kept her body toned and did you check out the leg stretches! How many of us can do splits in mid air.
    I am hoping she wins DWTS.
    I pray she stays healthy and can continue her acting and dancing career.
    Some remarks written above mine, it seems some of you are judging. In my bible their is only one Judge. HE has the final word. Better live by that!

    I know how she feels not to say good by, I lost a dear friend, she & I was very close all through school, I carryed her 1/2 mile on my back on senior prom night cause the road was flooded, Although we never kissed, I kept her in my heart cause she was a dear friend, I didn’t know she was dying till the funeral.

    Oh Please…Jennifer is NOT full of herself!!! And just because they didn’t get along the best during Dirty Dancing does NOT mean she didn’t care about him. I read from several different sources that said they DID keep in touch after the filming. I personally think it’s great that she is honoring Patrick’s memory by doing this and that is ALL she is doing as far as I can see. I don’t know why you people have to make more out of this than as there.

    For Pete’s sake, do you believe everything you read? How do you know she even said these things? Some close freind said…yeah, right. Some jealous close friend who wanted to make waves you mean. Or someone writing lies for money, it happens a lot. Even if it has a grain of truth, she has never treated others badly on the show, she’s a lovely dancer and I hope she wins. I’m sure Patrick is rooting for her.

    Please does anyone actually believe anything the tabloids report? Here you’re all ripping someone based on something said by a so called friend to a tabloid. If a friend of mine spoke about me under those conditions I’d hardly consider them a friend or think of them as a reliable source. God rest Patrick’s soul and I hope Jennifer wins.     Jennifer lost her “look” when she had plastic surgery. I did not even know who she was when on DWTS the other day. If celebs only new how their fans loved them “as is.” Jennifer looks like anyone else now. Her authenticity was lost when she had that nose job. Barbara Streisand never fell into the Hollywood plastic surgery trap and to this day looks fabulous. With that said, Jen is a terrific dancer and it was not nice of Patrick’s wife to not let her in to say goodbye. Not to be facetious but maybe she did not know who she was.

    Come on people, most of the comments sound so hateful! She is beautiful and if she had a nose job that is entirely her business, after all she didn’t ask any of you for money to pay for it. How many 50 year old women you know that looks like her, I bet she even looks better that you all. Anyone who’ve seen Dirty Dancing can see they shared a great chemistry. And after all, they are human beings just like us, they were entitled to a little disagreement. They both were are/were good at what they do/did. I think she should have given the opportunity to at least say her goodbyes over the phone. In situations like that, (Patrick dying) is when our feelings and love for one another take control of the situations. People need to feel the extra love and attention from family and friends.     The story was not about her appearance, it was about saying goodbye to someone who is dying. I doubt this story is even true for starters but if it is, she had no business trying to ‘say goodbye’ to Patrick Swayze. They may have spoke from time to time but she was not family or someone near and dear to his heart.
