Courteney Cox Arquette Too Shy to Date Again

COURTENEY Cox Arquette claims she is “too shy” to date again.
The Cougar Town actress — who announced last month she and husband David Arquette were undergoing a trial separation — has thrown herself into her work as she is worried about the prospect of going out and meeting someone new.
“Oh, man! Right now I’m not ready for anything,” Cox said when asked if she’s ready to find herself someone new. “I’m just working and looking for some calm and some time to sit back and reflect. I don’t know if I’d want to go back to dating — I might be too shy.”
But the Hollywood star admitted if she did start seeing someone new — she wouldn’t want to date anyone good-looking.
“You know what would be really hard for me? To go out with someone who I thought was too handsome — someone who, in every way, looks better than I do. That would be really uncomfortable,” she said.
Courteney — who recently insisted she and David have no plans to divorce, despite their separation — also praised her estranged husband describing him as her “best friend”.
“We’re the best of friends. It was never a horrible relationship, although obviously we grew apart,” she said.
“David is an amazing person. He has a wonderful soul and we get along very well. We’re hoping that things work out for the best.”
