Mel Gibson Ordered to Cough up $60k in Unpaid Child Support

Mel GibsonMEL Gibson has been ordered to pay $60,000 to Oksana Grigorieva in unpaid child support.

The Braveheart star and his former lover appeared in court together yesterday for the first time in their custody battle over their 12-month-old daughter Lucia.

Mel had refused to pay his court-ordered $20,000 monthly child support until Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon ruled on whether he could charge rent for the Los Angeles home he owns, where his former lover and their child currently reside.

The judge stated the actor is not entitled to any deductions and must pay the child support owed, in full, immediately.

Although Mel was ordered to pay $60,000 in child support there was some good news for him yesterday.

The couple currently share custody of Lucia but Oksana has claimed Mel is not fit to look after her on overnight visits after he allegedly attacked Oksana while the tot was in her arms.

Oksana also alleged a nanny was the primary caregiver when Lucia stayed with her dad and said she was worried the child was isolated in Mel’s home.

However, Judge Gordon insisted he would address visitation issues at a later date, expected to be next year, leaving the current custody agreement in place.

Mel and Oksana are due back in court November 22.

      I was thinking the same thing that maybe the child is not his maybe he should get a DNA test and if the baby turns out to not be his then this will be over, I truly believe that she is lying about most everything and you can splice up tapes with bits and pieces of coversation from different times to make it seem like what she is saying is true and Timothy Dalton does not have as much money as Mel and I think he just wants her off his back and yes she needs to move out of his house and move somewhere else that is part of what the 60 grand should be used for, just because he has money 20 grand a month takes care of an entire family for a year, people are always saying that just because he has money he should pay out of the a– if she can’t contribute to the care of her child then she does not need her, he has money she doesn’t and if she wants to live a certain lifestyle get a job and help provide I really think this is unfair to a lot of men in similar situations, child support should not be based on the amount of money the father makes it should be based on the child needs and the child can’t spend 20 grand a month
