EMMA Watson clearly hasn’t let fame go to her head.
The Harry Potter actress says she loves using public transport when she returns home to London — because she rarely gets recognized.
“I do actually go on the tube,” Emma said, “and the funny thing is that people look at me and they go, ‘Is that the girl from Harry Potter?’
“And then they go, ‘No, it can’t be, she’s on public transport.’ And I’m sat there and I’m like, ‘Ha, ha. That’s funny.’”
20-year-old Watson — who is currently studying at Brown University in New England — recently admitted she found the first few months of academia “liberating” in comparison to the grueling schedules she had to adhere to while filming the wizard franchise.
“It was so liberating. I’d be smiling to myself and friends would say, ‘Emma, what’s wrong?’ and I’d say, ‘I’m just happy’. I take pleasure in the smallest things,” she said.
“Like, I’m going to wake up at 10 o’clock if I want to. Or, I’m going to eat a sandwich now.
“I have such a structure when I’m working on Potter. I get told what time I get picked up. I get told what time I can eat, when I have time to go to the bathroom. Every single second of my day is not in my power.”[imagebrowser id=812]
