I am confused by your response especially by your opening sentence which leads the reader to assume that you either have residual issues from a recent break up, have issues with monogamy or that underneath it all you hate women resulting from “her” not being monogamous. OK well to be honest I am completely bewildered by your whole response I mean how in the world did you get monogamy as the topic of the article when never once was it mentioned that they were seen with others in public??? The fact is we don’t really know what’s going on but we can take note of Katie’s demeaner when those two got married. The look on Katie’s face was happy, excited, in love and for any girl that grew up in the 80s it would be a dream to land the cutest boy from Top Gun. She was fun, spunky, and smiling in every pic and she was working. NOW if you notice almost every pic she walks with her head down or she is always wearing glasses. She no longer smiles and in fact she looks sad and weathered. It would seem to me that she didn’t know what she was getting into and that the life she once knew was taken from her without her consent. It is obvious she is not happy all of these have nothing to do with monogamy its a matter of overall happiness and a future divorce coming up ….

I think Steve is right on principal. No doubt that what Steve advises is actually quite spectacular even though one might argue that it is a simple principal to enact. That may be true, but how often do we actually follow that suggestion and indeed wait until there is evidence that what is being implied or rumored is true? Having said that, sadly I do believe this story to be true, although maybe not every word of it but the underlying plot, if you will, is most likely true….that the couple mentioned is headed for divorce court. I mean history does repeat itself and how many divorces does Tom have so far? And furthermore there have been rumblings and whispers of unhappiness with their situation for quite some time now. So I would say that there marriage is on very shaky ground. Look at all the breakups and divorces that are occurring right now at this very moment in Hollywood….it is beyond epidemic and evidence of how clearly unhappy we as a society have become. And it is all based on several basic concepts that we as human beings all share. And there is no escaping this. All your children, and their children and so on, are going to continue to suffer and suffer even more deeply and horribly than we are suffering today. We are failing as human beings. We are failing because we are not following just a handful of simple, basic rules. And by rules I mean ways that human beings should be treating one another without exception. I will provide one of the ways…sharing. Because we are not sharing (and I don’t just mean in a dollar sense, that is just one of the ways, but there are many more ways of sharing) in a manner that we are supposed to be sharing we as a society will continue to spiral downward out of control. How much further can we spiral downward until disaster strikes (and by disaster striking I mean the annihilation of the human race) and in what method will this disaster strike? All good questions that I have the answers to and I would be more than willing to share with you if you have any concerns that are bothering you. Try not to worry about things you can’t have an impact on. Concentrate more on the very things in your life that are right in front of you and that you can have an immediate positive impact on and make your move with just a little effort on your part right now. You will see an immediate positive response and this will spread. The kindness that you just performed will spread from one person to another and soon you will be responsible for hundreds if not thousands of people feeling better about life…and all by your one courageous, simple, and easy to do kind act that you performed. How do you think you will feel knowing you are personally responsible for hundreds of people being happy and those people wanting now to do better in their lives? I don’t think there is much on the planet that can be more fulfilling than what you have just accomplished. Now imagine if you make this a priority each and every day of your life what miracles you …..you will be responsible for. Now this is only one of a handful of basic concepts that we need to practice to save the human race. Good luck. Let me get this straight….you are actually going to make the statement that you think that Tom Cruise is gay? Is that what you are going to imply? Keep in mind that if you make such an implication you best be prepared to face Tom Cruise’s entire legal team (well known to be a gang of thugs, bulldogs and pit bulls that are just waiting for someone like you to put in writing a derogatory anti-gay lie about a powerful Christian Scientist and pillar of society married father of children so that they can completely shred you and rip you apart and sue you for all that you own and will own) in court and also be prepared to provide proof to back up your anti-gay remark.
