Eva Longoria Not Blameless For Marriage Collapse

Eva LongoriaEVA Longoria had her own part to play in the collapse of her marriage to sportsman husband Tony Parker.

Sources close to Tony — who was accused of sending to texts to other women, rumored to be Erin Barry, the wife of his former teammate Brent Barry — insist both members of the couple have had their problems.

“Eva has been no angel, either,” a pal told the PopEater website.

“When they first got married, they both agreed to spend as much time with each other as possible. They knew it would be a challenge with them working in different states, but Eva’s part-time taping schedule for Desperate Housewives and the resources they had meant it wouldn’t be that hard.

“During the first year of marriage, Eva partially lived on an plane, visiting Tony the minute the director shouted ‘cut’ on the set of Housewives.

“Eva didn’t care about the lavish Hollywood parties she was missing or the fantastic private events she was invited to.

“Tony understands how important Eva’s career is to her and never wanted her to leave Los Angeles and settle with him in Texas.

“But then she would tell him that important meetings came up in Hollywood — which meant she had to stay in LA — and then he would see pictures of her and her friends out at restaurants and clubs. That’s when he knew he couldn’t compete.”

Eva and Tony married back in July of 2007.

They recently bought a third home together in Switzerland.

Longoria recently revealed she’s desperate to start a family with Tony.

“Family is very important to me, it means everything — it is the root of who I am and what grounds me,” she said.

“Tony is family to me, he is my most important family member. We are very close and we both want a large family – we both make our family a large priority in our lives.”

Meanwhile, it has been claimed Longoria handled her split from Parker “with military precision” — because she’s “obsessed” with the PR game.

“Tony and Eva had both agreed they should split,” a source said.

“Tony planned to file in Texas over the weekend but Eva insisted they file a few days later in LA, only after a secret deal had been cut to get her on the cover of Us Weekly.

“This entire announcement was handled by Eva with military precision.

“She is obsessed with fame and the entire PR game. She wanted to make sure the first story that came out made her look like an innocent victim.

“Tony hated posing for cameras or talking to magazines about his marriage. And although he will undoubtedly miss Eva he certainly won’t miss being dragged around LA pretending to be having a good time for the photographers.”

    Oh please. He sees her eating with her friends and felt he couldn’t “compete”…..with food? What BS reason will people come up with next? People cheat because they can – especially professional athletes.

    It’s so odd that some one as famous as Parker would be so desperate! To only be married 3 years, to not fight for the relationship, to not be able to be on his own shows to me a weak male with an very fragile ego! Women need to stay away from men with fragile egos as they are the most likely to cheat as they need constant reassurance to point of ad nauseum, that no single woman can supply. Theya re insecure. He sounds really insecure!

    sounds like tony is becoming desperate. he doesn’t want to look like the bad guy. he’s trying to place some of the blame on eva, when it was his decision, his choice, his insecurities that got him in this situation. take responsibility for your own actions!!

    I don’t think either one of them are desperate. Like one of the other article’s “sources” said – neither one of them married for the right reasons in the first place. She probably IS very into the fame and publicity game and he really doesn’t WANT to be limited to one woman. Both of them are probably secure people but neither really wants to do the “work” of marriage. If it can stay amicable, so much the better. At least they realized they shouldn’t be together before they brought a child into it.

    Just as I predicted and posted on this site a couple of days ago under another Eva story…check it out. Exactly as I had speculated. Eva is a huge flirt and very disrespectful in her deliberate and premeditated flirting with men in front of her husband and behind her husband’s back. Disgusting behavior on her part. She drove him to depression and dismay and ultimately into the crotch of another woman.

    Eva is completely self absorbed, and while Tony is at fault for going outside the marriage, she is also to blame. She spent little time in the last days with Tony, choosing her fame and glamour over her husband.
