GWYNETH Paltrow is a closet alcoholic!

During an interview with Chelsea Lately for the chat show host’s Chelsea’s Big Interview Special, the Iron Man actress admits she likes knocking back booze.

“I like red wine, but I’ll drink white, rosé… Guinness is my favorite beer, and I love a dirty vodka martini,” she said.

“I’m just a lush, basically. I’ll do whatever.”

Paltrow — who plays a recovering drug addict country star in new movie Country Strong — recently revealed she received advice about drug addiction from her Iron Man costar Robert Downey Jr. — who himself has overcome substance abuse problems

“I asked Robert a lot of questions because there were some things that I just did not understand,” she said. “Like, how do you behave so badly one night — and not just embarrass yourself, but wreck peoples’ lives — and then wake up in the morning and be like, ‘Hi!’

“I don’t get it. So he would write me emails about what addiction is and how it was for him. He was very articulate about it and he helped me a lot.”
