DANICA McKellar got more than a son when she gave birth earlier this year — she also gained a cracking pair of breasts!
The actress — who played Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years — welcomed baby Draco September 7 after a 36 hour labor.
And Danica says she’s delighted with the upper-body assets that motherhood has afforded her!
“I’ve wanted boobs since I was 10-years-old,” she told Access Hollywood. “I finally got ‘em!”
Danica — who writes math books for girls and is a three-time New York Times best-selling author — said that her years of inspiring young women came in handy during her excessively long labor.
“As I was in there in labor,” she recalled, “I was going, ‘OK, just keep going. What do you tell yours girls? What do you tell your readers?’ Overcome challenges — you can do it. We’re all stronger than we think we are.”
Danica — who’s married to composer Mike Verta — recently revealed that her son’s name, which is the Latin word for dragon as well as a constellation, was her husband’s idea at first.
“He’d heard the name and loved it,” she explained. “He said, ‘Once we’re gone, the constellation will keep looking out for him.’ It makes me cry every time I hear it. So of course that made it a winner! I love it. It’s a cool, strong name.”
“Draco loves to listen to [his dad] play the piano,” she adds. “I’m like, you don’t know that every daddy can’t do this!
“He’s really good-natured.
“He likes getting his diaper changed. He seems to really appreciate that! And he has a ravenous appetite. He eats every three hours and I’m exclusively breastfeeding. He’s just really sweet.”[imagebrowser id=652]
