MICHELLE Obama has got a nasty side!

The American First Lady has apparently been telling her nearest and dearest that she hopes nemesis Oprah Winfrey bombs when she launches her OWN network next year.

“Michelle hates Oprah,” alleged one insider. “She’s hoping she’ll come crashing down to earth with her latest venture.”

Rumors of a feud between Michelle and Oprah are nothing new.

Reports earlier this year claimed Michelle was trying to get husband Barack Obama to snub the billionaire media mogul and was left furious when the President let her film at the White House for her 2009 holiday special.

“Their marriage has been like a war zone lately,” a source said at the time.. “In public, they put on a united, smiling front but behind closed doors, the gloves come off. If they’re not screaming at each other, they’re glaring or stomping off in different directions.

“Michelle is intensely jealous of the time Barack spends with Oprah.

“Since the election, Michelle has privately given Oprah the cold shoulder. She once said, ‘There’s only room for one first lady in the White House — and that’s me!’”

“Believe me,” added the source. “She means it.”

Back in November ’09, it was reported that Oprah had been left “devastated” after Michelle decided to freeze her out of the White House inner circle.

“Oprah is devastated,” a source said at the time.

“She had no idea that Michelle was so jealous about the influence she had on Barack. She hated the way her husband would huddle with Oprah over strategy and jump when she called.

“The jealousy and anger was eating up Michelle. During the campaign, she vowed Oprah would not be a part of the new administration.

“Oprah had visions of being a close adviser to the president and a regular visitor to the White House. She was actually planning to redecorate the famous Lincoln bedroom, which is reserved for special guests of the first family.

“But in the first 10 months of the Obama administration, Oprah has visited the White House only twice, and one visit was for a business meeting to do an interview with Michelle for O magazine.

“And that was a disaster. Oprah arrived with her friend Gayle King, but was shocked to find Michelle cold and distant. Worse, she all but ignored Oprah and directed her attention to Gayle. It was as though Oprah wasn’t even there.

“Since then, Oprah has tried again and again to mend the rift.”

It amazes me that people have nothing better to do than make up stories. “It is rumored that…..” That’s exactly what it is a rumor. Spreading rumors is called gossip. Go read a book and grow, gossip doesn’t produce men and women of integritay.

It is a sad byproduct of capitalism that folks like you can make money off such drivel as this story on the ‘nasty’ side of the First Lady, the feuding marriage and the hatred of Oprah.
It is understandable that so many of the American public have lost faith in the credibility of our government and its leaders when you folks unconscionably exploit for profit by denigrating the precious right of freedom of speech
The article cleverly written with innuendo, unsubstantiated ‘sources’, half truths and exaggerated circumstances, I thought at first it was a satirical piece.
Only to realize it was ‘real’ in the end but at least making “fun” of you as people who try so hard to make a buck duping the gullible in our country who actually fall for your insulting their intelligence.

I always said that Michelle is a black woman with a chip on her shoulder (I am a black woman, so I am not saying this to be racist). She showed it during the primaries and she changed her tune when her husband won the primaries and then the election. But all the nice faces in the world aren’t gonna change her true colors because I read what the woman was about from the beginning. This rumors may or may not be true, but if they are, I can absolutely believe that they are and it would validate what I’ve felt about her since we were first introduced to her. I also believe all rumors start from some type of truth. I am not a huge Oprah fan myself, but I have more respect for her than Michelle. But it would really not matter to me if they aren’t chummy.
