Chelsea Handler ANGELINA Jolie and Johnny Depp‘s new movie, The Tourist, has bombed at the box office.

And guess who they’re blaming? Chelsea Handler!

Hollywood insiders believe Handler’s recent rant against Jolie, in which she called the actress a c**t, whore and home-wrecker, could have turned moviegoers against the Tomb Raider star.

The Tourist — which cost around $100m to make — took in just $17 million domestically on its first weekend.

“It’s not that Chelsea is the most powerful movie critic the world has ever known, it’s that she reminded all of America what Angelina had done all over again,” a source told PopEater.

“Chelsea picked an ugly scab off a wound that Angelina had worked so hard to heal with her humanitarian work,” an industry executive tells me. “What woman in America is going to pay money to see Angelina ruin one man’s life on-screen when we all saw her [ruin Jen's marriage] for free in real life?

“Chelsea’s comments couldn’t have come at a worse moment.

Handler is, of course, good friends with Jennifer Aniston — the ex-wife of Jolie’s partner Brad Pitt.

Don’t give Chelsea Handler that much credit. The film bombed because it was lousy, not because of anything Handler said. The script was lame and contrived, the direction incompetent and overwhelmed and the actors struggled to make sense of it all. Even die-hard Johnny Depp fans were disgusted by it. You can’t hurt a good film with bad publicity, and even good publicity can’t help a bad film. In Hollywood, they have a saying that any publicity (good or bad) is good, as long as they spell your name right. Nothing could help this film and the actors seemed well aware of it.

When will everyone just admit the truth about Angie. The film didn’t bomb. It still will likely more than recuperate it’s cost from international sales, like most movies. Jennifer’s last 4 films have bombed and that’s not because of Angelina nor did it help her films by being friends with Handler. When I first heard that Johnny was making a movie with Angelina, I KNEW that it wouldn’t work. Angelina has ridden on her TALENTED father’s (Jon Voight) coattails for too long. -HUMANITARIAN WORK no matter what the haters say, you people can never change the fact that she was able to help millions of people and as she said she will still continue doing that while she is still living,
-BEAUTY she beautiful inside and out you know that and some people just fail to appreciate that because they focus on the negative side,
-ACTING SKILLS she has already proven her skills and that is why is has created dozens of movies and no director or producer is stupid enough to risk millions of dollars to someone who has no guts for that (again movie success just depends on alot of factors -story, timing, genre, location, economy, moviegoers taste etc.)

Last thing, humanitarian work is not real humanitarian work in every sense of the word, if people like Angelina only use a pint size of her billions to donate or sell baby magazines to give back to poor people. Lots of middle class citizens also give back to poor but they want to be anonymous when they give back because they sincerely help and no other motive but to help. Besides, Humanitarian works/ charity starts in a place called home. If her children or Brad seems so lost and confused living with her and she just rely her kids to the nannies while being praised for going to poor countries and have her picture taken is such a desperate “fail” move. She should start loving herself and her family before doing the so called humanitarian things. Poor people can help others without using any penny or inviting the press to broadcast what they have done, caring for others in need without broadcasting it is the real thing. That is the difference of the true humanitarian works.
