Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds SCARLETT Johansson and Ryan Reynolds have become the latest Hollywood stars to call time on their marriage!

“After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage,” they say in a joint statement. “We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”

Johansson, 26, and Reynolds, 34, tied the knot in a quiet September 2008 ceremony in a wilderness retreat in Vancouver, which is Reynolds’s hometown. The ceremony was attended only by a handful of close family and friends.

“They are being very civil about it,” a source told Us Weekly magazine, noting that the spouses separated about two weeks ago.

“The big problem with their relationship is the distance.

“They spent a lot of time apart when they are working…She’s been unhappy for a while.”

Johansson told Glamour last year that she’s no expert on relationships. “I don’t profess to know anything about marriage that anybody else doesn’t know, or how to make it right,” she said.

Reynolds, meanwhile, admitted in the October issue of GQ that things had “changed” since they got married. “I’m a little more guarded, I think. I’m a little bit more wary of having my relationship turning into a soap opera.”

Reports in May this year claimed Ryan and Scarlett rarely saw each other, which was putting a strain on their relationship.

“Nothing is going to change unless Scarlett and Ryan can learn to compromise — and they won’t,” an insider said.

“Scarlett won’t cancel anything she has coming up or wants to go to, and neither will Ryan.”

It’s also been claimed that the couple had come to blows over a number of issues — including when to start a family.

“They’re struggling to see eye-to-eye on almost anything,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer. “From when to start a family — he’s ready, but she isn’t — to her smoking and what she sees as his reckless motorcycle riding.

“What’s making matters worse is that their busy careers are keeping them apart, so they get really out of sync.

“It’s gotten so bad that neither of them is hurrying home just to start fighting again.”[imagebrowser id=349]

    No compromise no relationship…

No compromise there will never be any relationships for either.

Any future partners should take note of this…

They are both to selfish to compromise both to selfcentered to bend in any way…both to selfobsorbed to know what a relationship takes to work or care enought to find out.

    So be it…by all means…DIVORCE…
