Harrison FordHARRISON Ford wants to kill off Indiana Jones!

Sources say the Hollywood star has told creator George Lucas and director Stephen Spielberg that he wants the whipcracking adventurer to meet his maker in a fifth and final adventure.

“Harrison thinks it would be good for Indy to die and pass on his hat to his son in the next one,” reveals an insider.

“George especially is resisting the notion but Steven is considering it. Funnily enough Harrison wanted the same for Han Solo in the final Star Wars but George put an end to it. This time he doesn’t have all the say though.”

Ford, 68, recently revealed he got asked for ID while trying to buy beer.

“I went to buy some beer the other day and got carded!” he said.

“I said, ‘I’m 68 years old,’ and he said, ‘Young people complain about being singled out, so we ask everyone to show proof.’

“I said ‘take a look at me. Are you kidding?’ But he still wanted to see it.”

    I love the Indiana Jones Movies they have action, comedy, intrigue and more. Withou Harrison Ford in this role it would not have been as good. Like Harrison I think it is time for a younger actor in the adventure part to make it more believable. I do not think he should be killed off through. Retire Indiana and keep for cameoes as a consultant for his son.

    The next movie ought to start with the end scene from Crystal Skull and Then Indiana wakes as if from a bad dream. Like the last movie NEVER REALLY HAPPENED. Putting in Labouf as his son was a horrid turn and the last movie was a true tragedy.

    Sorry, everyone. Indy cannot die in his current condition without damaging the continuity of the “Young Indiana Jones Chronicles” – which is still considered “canon” by the producers. They’d have to age Harrison/Indy to age 90+, lose an eye, and get him around with a cane.

    This is a foolish idea simply for the fact that Lucasfilm considers “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles” canon, and Indy appears in that show as an old man. Killing him off would be cheap melodrama. Harrison Ford needs to just find a way to bow out gracefully. Nevertheless, this is a franchise that doesn’t need to have its torch passed (especially to that bland, overhyped, useless Shia Labouf). Do one more movie, end it on a good note, do better than “Crystal Skull” (which shouldn’t be hard to do) and leave the fans feeling happy.
