CANDACE CAMERON BURE OPENS UP ABOUT HER HELLISH BATTLE WITH BULIMIA

Candace Cameron BureCANDACE Cameron Bure has opened up about her battle with bulimia.

The Full House star, 34, details her struggles in her new book Reshaping It All. She says she began binging and purging after Full House ended its run in 1995 and she was adjusting to life in Canada with her new husband, Russian-born NHL player Valeri Bure.

“It’s a very dangerous cycle that can just start to consume your life and really take over,” she said.

“It wasn’t about me trying to lose weight. It was all about emotions.”

Candace says she stays in shape thanks to plenty of family exercise time with Bure, 36, and kids Natasha, 12, Lev, 10, and Maks, 8, and a diet philosophy that allows everything — including her self-professed “weakness,” dessert! — in moderation.

      It has nothing to do with fame shes just trying to inform people that she was bulemic and the dangers of it an that you can die from it. I know all this i was bulemic as a kid. You sound jeolous.

    I agree with Afton. Every so many months this woman appears in the news with more junk no one cares about (homeschooling mom, her faith, now her bullemia years). No one cares, Candace! Also, your kids will not thank you for their ridiculous names

    Candace- it takes a lot of courage to be open about something like that, and a lot of people don’t understand it. Such a beautiful young woman who faces serious circumstances in life.       Both Sam and Afton need to get over their-selves. She has been famouss for a long time since full house with the different movies she makes. Not everyone has the ability to be open about some of the struggles they faced. And those are normal names. DID YOU NOT READ, the live in CANADA, those are normal names. I mean afterall, some people here name their kids after cars or soda. Just because you live in a sheltered world where everybody has “normal” names and does not have any struggles to deal with, does not mean that everyone else does.

    Sam really you need to find something to do in your life rather than sitting at home on your computer as an insecure person poking at other people and their lives in a negative manner. I never comment on stories but it amazes me that when I look t those who do it is always negative and childish.

    Afton have you said your name allowed to yourself ever in your life? I dont think you are one to judge on “ridiculous” names.

    Though this is all media based and celebrities do not read the comments I still would like to say I am glad to know Candace is someone who appears to live descent life and is not the typical celebrity has some other issues as in drug or alcohol addictions.

    I would say she has had more than 15 minutes of fame and could probably buy ol Sammy. Good for her for coming out in the open and revealing a dangerous issue many woman face. I am an old Full House fan and my kids now have grown up on it. I say Go Candice!
