I think it’s a dog-gone shame that John Edwards is even considering marrying this woman so soon after his beautiful wife Elizabeth died. We all love Elizabeth rather she’s gone or not and we all know she’s in a much better place, but John Edwards, is a shame and a disgrace to himself and to his children and to the world. If I was his older daughter I would not have anything further to do with him or his mistress, after all it must have really been an upset to Elizabeth, for her to leave him completely out of her will. If John Edwards were to run for anything in politics, he would never get my vote, because he would not be one to be trusted. I just wish his two other younger children were old enough to truly understand and make their decision whether to wipe out their so-called father out of their lives. His camp is saying it is not true that he’s going to marry this woman, well, duh! haven’t we all heard this before when he said he wasn’t seeing this woman and when we all found out that the child she had he said it wasn’t his and to our amazement the world found out including Elizabeth that everything he said was nothing but lies, and with him and his camp whoever they are in saying that he’s not marrying this woman is more lies. Enough should be enough, yes he should do right by his daughter that he helped conceive by this woman he should do so and if he really wanted to marry her, that’s alright too but he should wait until it’s a reasonable time to do so, out of respect for his children and a time for mourning, didn’t he love Elizabeth at one time. Didn’t his vows to her mean something to him at one time despite of the affair he had with this other person. He and Elizabeth had children and didn’t her sickness mean something to him, to watch her going down every day slowly, DIDN’T ALL THAT MEAN SOMETHING TO HIM. I would say to John Edwards that he’s a poor excuse of a husband and he’s a poor excuse of a father and just what he did to Elizabeth one day he’s going to do the same to his mistress as well. She maybe riding high now knowing she is going to marry Elizabeth loser, but one day that loser that she’s obtain (the mistress), will become her loser as well. I wish John Edwards and his home wrecking mistress and their (her family} a dark encircled life just as Elizabeth and her blood children, (family) had to live and her children remaining are still living. The older daughter of Elizabeth, I give her all of my respect and I say to her to watch over her younger siblings so that they will know the truth one day and to remind them of what a wonderful mother Elizabeth was and to always keep her in their hearts and that NO-ONE can ever replace their mother, no matter who it is or whatever eloquent words that may be used to persuade them otherwise, they really had a mother who understood them and who loved them from the bottom of her heart. Teach them continously of the raising that Elizabeth had instill in them, just be all that your mother Elizabeth wanted you all to be. Whatever your father does is on him just continue to walk in the statues of your mother and her teachings, and when your father do succomb be there for him to remind him physically of your mother’s love that she had for him, regardless of what took place during their time of marriage until he decided to give it all away for this so-called mistress. Keep the faith and we are praying for you and your siblings.
