BILLY Baldwin has banned his children from going into showbiz.

The 47-year-old actor and his singer wife Chynna Phillips are going against the trend for showbiz kids by hiding their three children Jameson, 10, Vance, 8, and six-year-old Brooke from the glare of the spotlight.

“We don’t have a television in our house,” explains Billy whose wife is the daughter of former Mammas and the Pappas singers John and Michelle Phillips.

“We disconnected the TV last month and we have very strict controls over the Internet.

“My wife grew up in a showbiz family in Hollywood and she has the scars to prove it. Her parents got divorced when she was just two and her mother was dating Warren Beatty, Jack Nicholson and Mick Jagger.

“Then her father was a heroin addict for many years so we made the decision very early on that we would not raise our children in or around show business. I talk to them about what I do but they don’t go to movie premiers and walk the red carpet twice a week.”
