Nicolas Cage: Actor Nicolas Cage Likes Filming in Open Spaces!

Nicolas CageNICOLAS Cage says he agreed to star in new movie Season of the Witch because he wanted to film in a field!

The Hollywood star says he likes working in wide open spaces.

“I really wanted to be in the forest,” says Cage. “I was making a little movie called Bad Lieutenant in New Orleans and I was very hot and I was in these tiny, very humid offices, and I was dreaming about making a movie in the forest.

“And then this script came along and there it was and I said ‘I’m going.’ And I was in the Austrian Alps, which was divine. I also found myself living a dream because I’d always wanted to play a knight. I’d been doing it since I was very small in my backyard and it took this long to put it on celluloid.”

Cage recently revealed he has immersed himself in a fantasy movie world, even as he tries to get real in his personal life.

“I find it quite liberating to work in the fantasy genre,” said Cage.

“I discovered, as I continued to work in cinema, that science fiction is one of the last ways to be abstract and yet still manage to connect with audiences.

“And I like to find ways to explore the abstract in my work in a way that people can comprehend on some intuitive level.

“I am in a place where I want to entertain families.

“And if that means you have to reduce the violence, you can always replace it in a bold way with the power of magic and effects.”

    Who really cares where he films, he needs to film because he owes so much money in back taxes because as soon as he makes it, he spends it all. Plus all of his movies are mostly bombs anyway. His 15 minutes of fame is over.

    he is doing his job he is a good actor thats why he gets the work , and he has been famous for a lot longer than 15 min he has worked with countless actors , if he has a finicial issue so what dont we all ,

    Nick, he is broke because he bought an asian wife from korea and must pay her father tons of money each month. He is working in this film because HE NEEDS WORK, HE IS BROKE, DUH!!!

    He should have just gone to a korean massaggee lady, there are thousands of them all over the U.S, usually korean prostitutes that married soldiers, heck, for 20 dollars a pop, he could have saved millions of dollars, and plus he does not have to put up with their smell.

    I read somewhere that Nicolas Cage who’s real last name is Coppola picked his stage name based on a play on the phrase ” niggerless cage”. Is that true, and if so, how can we find out for sure.

      It is true he took his name from a play on words – the exact play was “Take all those niggers out of their cages and what do you have? Niggerless cages!”
