OWEN Wilson has intentionally kept his private life a secret.

Sources say the actor — who recently announced his girlfriend Jade Duell is pregnant with the couple’s first child — has gone to great pains to keep his private life out of the spotlight.

“Owen has had many girlfriends under the radar who no one knew about,” a source told the PopEater website.

“He may have dated high-profile women like actress Kate Hudson and musician Sheryl Crow, but that is not the norm for him. He likes regular people.

“He tries to blend into a community and has always kept his private life as secretive as possible.

“Now that he is about to become a father, some of the good upbringing he had will have a chance to shine on its own merit. It’s a whole new chapter in the Owen Wilson book of life.”

Sources close to Owen — who tried to kill himself following his 2007 split from the actress Kate Hudson — recently revealed the actor has turned his life around thanks to Jade.

“He’s gotten a new lease on life with Jade,” blabbed one insider.

“He’s come all the way back from the depths of despair to being happier than he ever dreamed possible.”
